admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

Took too long to post, but I knew that one

OOHHH am I middle class??

Nope, Classic Literature graduate.

Judy1234 · 24/09/2007 19:37

Quite the converse, sometimes. I find the title of the site absolutely dreadful - mumsnet. Who is a mum? People I know use mummy. .... but I don't take myself very seriously. The word mum always feels like dreadful dumbing down.

wheres this from mildmannered?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/09/2007 19:42

That, my dear Xenia, is because you think "Mummies" are inferior to workers.

Have you forgotten that you are a "Mummy" or do you 'class' yourself differently?
