admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

Is Zookeeper also Talulasmum

MrsFogi · 24/09/2007 17:08

Well done 2Mum, an expert! Perhaps you can enlighten me on the quiz?

  1. what does a "tracksuit for best" mean?
  2. What is "Trisha"?
  3. Are they not being a bit unscientific about Ibiza I think they have a few hotels that are listed in LHW and SLHW?
  4. What is Malibu (I know what it looks like and it's a drink but wonder what kind of drink)?
  5. Who is Kat Slater?
  6. What is a Croydon Facelift? OP clearly has not noticed the opportunities for enlightenment on MN!
2mum · 24/09/2007 17:11

3andnomore · 24/09/2007 17:16

JV...funny you mention it, the thought crossed my mind you know!

And oi...about me being confused again...but it can't be teh thread lp says neither...because, well, I don't think it even mentions talula, nor is anyone slagging her off...I think....albeit, of course it's a piss take on this thread...but that is a different story altogether...imo....

sugarmatches · 24/09/2007 17:22

Okay, can someone explain to me how words on a computer screen can be seen as bullying??

I also didn't believe that spiders were coming out to get me when I watched Arachnophobia last night.

MrsFogi · 24/09/2007 17:25

Thanks Lorayn and 2mum!

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 17:27

sugarmatches,I have no idea!!! bullying seems to be used for everything that is a group of people versus another, would any of us claim bullying if talulasmum rounded up her friends and they all started on at someone who had written a thread slagging off a large number of people??
I personally think it is horrible to claim bullying when it is obviously no such thing, it makes real life cyber bullying seem a joke, when in fact it isnt.
Maybe talulasmum should have started the thread we told her to about her real problems and seen how we acted, i can almost guarantee it would have been with support and advice, that isnt what bullies do IMO

3andnomore · 24/09/2007 17:27

lol sugar...although no laughing matter...but I suppose you can be bullied on a formu...I don't think it's what happened here tbh...

however, I think it can be very easy to be drawn into a debate/thread and it can sometimes feel very personal, I suppose...

elesbells · 24/09/2007 17:31

wow

sarcastic
is this still going on? its bullying now i see

same old same old

sugarmatches · 24/09/2007 17:53

All of this "bullying"...
Nothing a nice shag wouldn't cure!!

Oh dear god!! My dh really is rubbing off on me. Next I am going to say "it must be someones time of the month"!
Oops

ComeOVeneer · 24/09/2007 18:02

"My dh really is rubbing off on me". I had to re-read that comment as I wasn't quite sure what you meant

sugarmatches · 24/09/2007 18:04

Not in that way!
It isn't anywhere near his birthday.

Mhamai · 24/09/2007 18:05

Sorry for the hi jack but ComeOveneer, can I ask you soe questions re a wisdom tooth extraction I'm having on Weds?

ComeOVeneer · 24/09/2007 18:06

Oh fgs this isn't bullying. Bullying is an unprovoked and persistent attack (either verbal, emmotional, physical etc) of an individual. This is being annoyed/p*ssed off with someone coming along and insulting a vast group of people who have done a hell of a lot of good and wishing to defend themselves. If Talulasmum actually made the effort to look into MN she would discover the likes of "Mile for Maude", all the help for Misdee, Yorkiegirl etc etc.

sugarmatches · 24/09/2007 18:06

LOL!
Now that is boring!!

ComeOVeneer · 24/09/2007 18:06

Sure Mhamai, start me a new thread I will be over in a mo.

ComeOVeneer · 24/09/2007 18:07

Sugarmatches, I guess she is right then I am middle class and a bore

Mhamai · 24/09/2007 18:08

Cheers ComeOVeneer.
