admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

Tally you are responding either immaturely or you are on the edge

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 13:46

MEOWMIX is right talula, maybe if you posted about what problems you're facing people would give you some insight into what they are/have been through, then you'd realise that even 'middle class' folk have worries.
Maybe you should go on the bereavement/miscarriage/conception threads and read some truly heartaching stories written by a middleclass hand.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/09/2007 13:48

Lorayn, you are a sweetie, but I think talulasm has got her self-absorbed ear-muffs on.

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 13:50

ha, a sweetie, ha, and ha again, I'll file that for later, incase I ever get told to fuck off on an internet forum, it will serve as a boost.

littleboo · 24/09/2007 13:51

In the words of "Xfactor .... You're all talking St..st...st.. stupid.... you are" (should be followed by an Italian Death threat apparently but don't speak it sorry
This thread has completely lost the plot, its nothing to do with the original post and is , in my book bullying.
Talulasmum ( even if she or he is a troll, or a 'namechanger' has been completely backed into a corner, abused and slagged off, criticised for everything she says. If she responds , she's shouted down , if she does,'t she's insulted.
I hate this gang/pack mentality, bet most of the people commenting "in not so nice a fashion, wouldn't dare say it if it were face to face,
If Talulasmum is for real i bet she had a really shit day yesterday, and when you feel shit it impacts on those around you, so probably talula had a shit day too.
Really you should all be ashamed.
Now I know I'll be shouted down, but hey who cares.
If this was how one of your children was being treated by someone on one of the kids forum, bebo or such or by someone at school, bet you'd all be in uprising.

talulasmum · 24/09/2007 13:52

aitch; i know ive been an idiot to start off like this but i did apologise ages ago, that didnt work. i should of just walked away. i dont know why all this has finally made me cry. bloody ridiculous i know.

OP posts:
Lorayn · 24/09/2007 13:53

maybe so littlebo, but if my child went on to a kids forum and slagged everyone off I would expect her to be ready for some abuse back.
And I think the words were 'sleep with the fishes'
expect a horses head on your bed tomorrow morning

talulasmum, I have to go and get DD (yes I call her darlin, somewhat sarcastically I must say) from school.
Leave this thread, stop posting and go and make one about what is really bothering you.

littleboo · 24/09/2007 13:55

Will do Lorayn, won't sleep tonight, will be listening out for neighing
yes what she said may have been wrong, she is however entitled to her opinion as is everyone, but the way this has become very personal and aggressive just isn't called for.

Aitch · 24/09/2007 14:00

ach well, talulasmum, chalk it up to experience... the first forum i ever went on i pissed off the 'queen bee' of the place (how was i to know?) and she started another thread with my name on it to slag me off. stupid bitch.

anyway, good to see that you stand your ground (albeit in a slightly lunatic way ) you'll fit in fine round here.

truth is, you've got it right and wrong about the site. there are a large amount of clever and bright women who do want the best for their children on here and do ask for support on the most arcane things, but how that relates to class given that it's just typing on a screen i don't know... i'm sure you're just the same. apart from the smoking, now that is disgusting... For your delectation and delight, a:

Middle Class Board

Cammelia · 24/09/2007 14:03

Aitch · 24/09/2007 14:03

sugarmatches · 24/09/2007 14:11

Working class is so passe.

talulasmum · 24/09/2007 14:12

aitch; thanks.

Hi talulasmum

please can I join you in the 'naughty corner'

I think I may have been foung guilty of a similar offence, despite evidence to the contrary

Nothing to do with middle class bores.

Aren't bores just bores irrespective of class?

Right, what shall we have to drink to celebrate our notoriety?

3andnomore · 24/09/2007 14:17

oh,looks like there will be peace at last...

God lord is this really still trundling along? I thought it all stemmed from Sunday boredom, but you really do have a huge chip on your shoulder talulasmum.

Aitch · 24/09/2007 14:27

nah, it's not really trundling any more. i think talulasmum just got herself wound up in a bit of a knot there for a while.

talulasmum · 24/09/2007 14:33

i have apologised, three times at least, but you just keep coming back with the insults. your the ones who wont let this drop. ive had another thread started solely to take the piss out of me. ( my spelling of all things ) im not changing my name. i do have a chip on my shoulder, but if you knew anything about my back ground you'd understand.

OP posts:
Meeely2 · 24/09/2007 14:37

why would you expect people to understand without knowing your background talula? If you have a background then fair enough but who was to know - you start a thread saying we are all middle class bores and then get offended by the back lash.......we didn't know there was history behind the title did we?

pardon my late entry to this thread - have been watching with interest......

hunkermunker · 24/09/2007 14:39

You've all made me cry now!

I can't believe how up yourself you all are.

Chavs and toffs alike, you've all been bitchy to me [sob]

Oh, hang on, I dropped into an alternate universe for a second there. One where this thread made sense and I took it all a bit personally for No Reason At All.

TM, you big attention seeker, you. If you need help, post and you'll get it. Well, maybe you'd like to namechange first, because I don't think you'll be taken very seriously by a lot of women you've slated!

HTH.
