admittedly, ive only been a member for a few months, but i have come to this conclusion. take today for instance. the main topic of conversation on this section is; parents of 5 year olds worried about which senior school to go to? on that thread is the biggest bore & snob you will ever have the misfortune to meet. this popular thread is closely followed by mums worried about whats in their kids packed lunch? mums get a life! im off for a fag.

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 12:24

Talulasmum, you know how to google yes??
Google this
tongue in cheek

talulasmum · 24/09/2007 13:22

actually, i am starting to change my mind about you, some of you are quite interesting and witty, but the majority are probably chavs just pretending to me middle class mummys, why else would you be so bitchy towards me. ive lost count of the times ive been told to fuck off (how common!) surely classy mums wouldnt use such language; and for the record;

  1. i am a single mum
  2. i smoke ( but i hear even the upper classes do sometimes)
  3. i probably need more help and advice than you lot put together.

You're still boring though

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 13:27

talulasmum if you need help then ASK
FYI, my first post, in fact my first three or four topics I posted on I argued with many of the posters, but I stuck around and have given and received some great advice.
I have also come to realise some of the people I thought of as up their own arses are actually really nice, supportive and helpful people.
I'd put this thread behind you and start a decent one asking for the help you say you need.
I bet even after this you'd be given it.

Aitch · 24/09/2007 13:30

fuck off, talulasmum, and take your twisted idea of class with you.

lissielou · 24/09/2007 13:31

is this still going?

talulasmum · 24/09/2007 13:34

thanks lorayn. x x

It's only wannabe Middle Class-ers that have a chip on their shoulder about Middle Class folk

Did you know that haut monde were first to capture the phrase "fuck off" to use as an abusive term?

It was hijacked later on by the lower classes in an attempt to climb the social ladder.

meowmix · 24/09/2007 13:35

gawd.

My Dad worked bloody hard so I could have the education so I would be middle class. And honestly I'm really grateful.

Boring? No I don't think anyone's ever called me that. Not since I took first prize in the naming all the capital cities in the world contest in 1902....

talulasmum · 24/09/2007 13:38

aitch; thank you for that, you have actually made me cry, just cant take this bullying any more. well done.

OP posts:
Aitch · 24/09/2007 13:40

talulasmum, you are acting bonkers, you know that? i'm sorry to have made you cry but nothing, NOTHING about your attitude so far would ever have made me think that you were taking this seriously. all you've done is insult people on here...[baffled]

nevertheless, i completely apologise for making you cry and had not anticipated that my comment would have that impact on you.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/09/2007 13:41

Talulasmum - you have pissed an awful lot of people off with your rudeness, stereotyping and criticisms.

I really dont know what response you expected?

Anyway, I didnt know trolls had feelings?

Talulasmum - don't take it to heart, if you need help, ask for help.

But to come along and effectively imply we're all silly airheads with no worries of our own is not the way to gain sympathy. Many of the parents on here have faced truly horrific and difficult times that you know nothing about as yet.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 24/09/2007 13:43

tmmj - i was trying to be polite about it

StealthPolarBear · 24/09/2007 13:44

talulasmum what is it you need help or advice with? Surely you can see that your thread is going to put people's backs up? What were you trying to achieve with this?
