To ask what is the best hoover for pet hair?

Tying myself up in knots reading and comparing reviews.
Shark? Miele?
Short white dog hairs everywhere on a dark coloured carpet!
My trusty Hetty just isn’t effective - help please!

I would really love a shark but would have to be cordless and with the lift away for stairs and anti hair wrap as my hair gets all over the place.

I dont have any pets though but my carpets are about 3 years old and very matted in walked on areas - I hate it and had G tech which did nothing really.

Would a shark help solve the matted problem as my current hoover, Panasonic just "judders" over the areas.

My previous carpet (with very little pile) that was around 10 years old looked better than this longer piled carpet!

@superstar63. That sounds more an issue with the carpet, as mad as it sounds, can you comb it to get rid of the mats.

userxx I was thinking of getting a rubber broom to see if that will bring the pile up and I think you are right it is the carpet. It started looking very downtrodden around the 6 month mark!

@userxx enjoy! It’s easy to clean too, I have a hooky thing to get my hair out of the bristles but it comes out fine... I just have a lot of hair
