Let's be honest here. We all let ourselves go a little bit feral when left to our own devices, don't we?

I'm partial to having one-sided debates with the dogs over any random topics that come to mind (sounds less crazy than talking to myself IMO! Grin ). Also been known to slide around the floor in my socks after a good mop pretending I'm Michael Jackson, Hee-Hee's included.

Talk to myself. Get angry and vent. Grind my teeth during sleep.

GreyGardens88 · 04/06/2020 23:25

Not been home alone for more than about 20 minutes in 6 months now I'm forgetting what it's like. I'm usually very messy, drink lots and go crazy with music and dancing

Ginkypig · 04/06/2020 23:26

I vary often say out loud whatever my inner monologue is.

or out loud describe what ever task in doing like "I'm putting the milk in the coffee" or "I'm taking this plate out of the dishwasher" or "oh my doorbell is ringing".

or talk to the cat.

I also sing either made up songs or along to my favourites.

Fine you may think but I do it all in various different accents.

Sunnydaysrock · 04/06/2020 23:26

Doyouavocado that's hilarious....I think I do that too now you mention it Shock

Harrykanesrightsock · 04/06/2020 23:27

Pretend I’m dead to see my dogs reaction. Result. Dog uninterested and slinks off to his bed. Lots of salsa dancing. Doing the walk down stairs thing behind the kitchen island.

GADDay · 04/06/2020 23:33

I have forgotten. It feels like it's been 20 years since I had 5 minutes alone.

This thread has made me realise that I am desperate for everybody to fuck off for a few hours so that I can potter, talk to the dog in my special dog voice. Chatter to the bird in my even more special bird voice.

Not likely any time soon.....

WinWinnieTheWay · 04/06/2020 23:33

Without imbibed I do fake made up yoga / Thai chi. I would die of embarrassment if anyone ever caught me, but I really do think that it's doing my body some good.

I cook very lazy meals for myself, usually Jacket potato and salad.

I'm extra affectionate to the dog.

WaterOffADucksCrack · 04/06/2020 23:35

I pretend I'm on a cooking/cleaning show if I'm cooking ot cleaning and describe what I'm doing. That's in my head not out loud though so as I'm never alone even in normal times! I also do makeup tutorials in my head.

RUOKHon · 04/06/2020 23:36

I haven’t been in the house on my own since about February. But back then, when no one was watching, I liked to do YouTube tutorials and learn the choreography to Beyoncé’s videos. Shhhh.

SurfnTerfFantasticmissfoxy · 04/06/2020 23:36

I commentate my own cooking as if I'm hosting a cooking show. I think I'd be quite good 🤣

TheMamaYo · 04/06/2020 23:36

Be naked. Nothing funky. Just ‘airing my skin’. We are quite isolated so no one can see in, and I just love walking around for a while without clothes before or after a shower. Not a good sight, for sure. It’s been a long long time since I’ve been able to do that.

aquashiv · 04/06/2020 23:37

I'm never alone.

If I were I'd definitely take my pants off and twerk.

RickOShay · 04/06/2020 23:41

It’s the eating with piggy abandon for me too. Drips everywhere while watching telly and then vaping loads.

lymphopenia · 04/06/2020 23:43

This thread has made me realise how long it's been since I have been alone in the house but much like others I enjoy a good bit of YouTube karaoke (nope can't sing) and commenting on my life as though I'm giving an interview but it's awfully mundane stuff.

When I was little I dreamt of being allowed to stay home on my own so I could make cake mix and eat the entire thing on my own raw 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ definitely was a bit feral as a kid Grin

Blossom513 · 04/06/2020 23:43

I sometimes lick my plate clean

ApocalypseNowt · 04/06/2020 23:48

Eat a whole jar of tartare sauce with a spoon while wearing a giant blue hairy cardie that makes me look like the Cookie Monster fallen on hard times. I usually do this while watching substandard horror films. Or real housewives. #winning

Excitedforxmas · 04/06/2020 23:49

I bin things of dh,s then act like u don’t know what he’s talking about when he discovers them missing

OhioOhioOhio · 04/06/2020 23:51

Watch far more TV than is normal.

nevergoingoutagain · 04/06/2020 23:52

Watch crap chick flicks and eat au to much sugar. Also play random songs on Alexa and sing with great passion and ferver. I also smoke way more than anyone knows.....and nap. Oh how I miss napping!

Cherrysoup · 04/06/2020 23:53

God, I’m a silent boring person! I prefer to work in silence, although I juggle figures by whispering them like a nutter 😳

I had to input grades today on the exam board website and I fucked up a couple of rankings. Fortunately, the exam website recognised this, so I’m looking at the red ones going ‘Ok, so Charlie is 15 on my handwritten sheet, so he’s 3 on here, Zac is a grade 8, so he’s number 4’. At this point, my DH, who’s been in bed after a night shift came in to discuss new doors and the figures are all swirling in my head. I told him to go, I can’t cope with that conversation with all those numbers moving round my head! Am I mad?’ 🤣

tobee · 04/06/2020 23:55

I like to look as scuzzy as possible with greasy hair etc etc. Look in the mirror with a sad "before" face. Then have a shower, wash my hair, all the cleansers, face packs moisturiser, etc etc, style hair, make up. Look in the mirror. The happy "after" face. Done this for years and years. Usually with commentary a la teen magazine captions circa 1984.

saveeno · 04/06/2020 23:55

I watch the old videos (transferred to computer now), of my family back in the day. Hilarious but so fekkin sad at the same time and cry buckets for the loss of them.

Feel ok after letting the pressure out.

VioletNoRegard · 04/06/2020 23:58

This was me, actually....

“Love to love ya baby, owww!”

Whatnext2018 · 05/06/2020 00:01

I’m literally never alone anymore 🙈but pre child and dog, I’d listen to music, drink lots of wine, sunbathe, eat whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, without having to share, read book after book, lie on the sofa for the whole day watching reality tv, if I wanted. Danced to old 90’s piano house tunes after drinking, smoke cigarettes on my balcony..ahh...good times!

SunshineOverStress · 05/06/2020 00:02

This thread has made me really laugh!!

I also dance like a stripper whilst alone and regularly pull faces in the mirror Grin
