Please tell me about your sex life during lockdown.

I’m feeling crappy and sexually frustrated. Me and Dh have only had sex once since lockdown. 3dc and the older two who haven’t been going bed until late has completely ruined it for us. Dh just can’t get in the mood 😑😑😑

And now he’s moaning it’s too hot.

Please tell me I’m not the only one with the lack of sex life atm.

Surprisingly worse (on both sides) here too! Not even sure why. We are very lucky and privileged with dp’s stable job etc etc. I think it’s just the overall mood though. I’ve felt down for months.

Weve had a bit more than normal.Dh sex drive goes up when the weathers hot hes like a dog on heat.

As normal (pretty often). Moreso when my DCs are at their dad's tbh as my bed is bloody noisy. If they're home then it's just very late.

I do find this is the upside to a blended family where children have overnights with the other parents.

We have to wait for both kids to go out for a walk... they don’t walk together, so that’s not often...

They’re 20 and 24, so there’s no bedtime or anything, lol

Same here - although DH doesn't have much of a drive at the best of times and lockdown and the heat hasn't made that any better!

Managing 2/3 times a week. Usually past 10pm when the kids are definitely off to sleep which makes getting in the mood harder

Same, kids still awake reading or watching tv in rooms when we go to bed, DH up early to WFH so not much action here either.

Fairly often about 2/3 times a week in the morning. Would have sex even more if 1. dp didn't stay up so late, and 2. He was less annoying in lockdown.
Why do teenagers stop a sex life? Can't you just hold the noise down a bit?

I'm single so mine is non existent Sad. But my friends have said theirs is rapidly going down hill, feels like no1 is having sex.

March 4th. Longest gap ever by about 8 weeks. Being single in lockdown is shit. I wouldn't stick with it but it's not like hotels are open and I'm not bringing anyone back. Sigh.

Same as usual here now, slightly more than usual at the start of lockdown as I was feeling unsettled and kept crying at the news and a shag is a quick natural fat-free pick me up.

Everyone seems to generally have a lot more sex than us then! Lockdown or not we are lucky if it’s once a month.

I'd be a bit bored with sex every day mind you Grin

It's about twice or three times a week here (two teens who don't believe in sleeping regular hours and one who doesn't know what knocking is!)

It's no different than before lockdown - 5 times since then I reckon (young DC), but we've always valued quality over quantity, so we're both ok with that.

We had a really upsetting pregnancy scare at the beginning of lockdown where I couldnt access an emergency iud because of the lockdown... the condom had split and i did get hold of the MAP but i have fallen pregnant on MAP twice those being the only two other times I've ever used it so you can see why i was worried....it turned out okay but i think that plus general stress of the lockdown.. the kids being here all day and really hyper... my husband being a nurse doing 12 hour days meaning I'm alone with the kids for 12 hours day after day... and now the heat... well you can imagine it has put somewhat of a damper on romance.... i feel sort of horny but its not worth the bother or eating into time when i could just be sat in the dark in silence by myself... which I currently love more than sex I'm afraid..... I think my husbands on the same page... both just drained
