Please tell me about your sex life during lockdown.

I’m feeling crappy and sexually frustrated. Me and Dh have only had sex once since lockdown. 3dc and the older two who haven’t been going bed until late has completely ruined it for us. Dh just can’t get in the mood 😑😑😑

And now he’s moaning it’s too hot.

Please tell me I’m not the only one with the lack of sex life atm.

Not had sex since before lockdown began.

Thought moving 8mo DS out of our room during lockdown would help but after wrangling 4yo DS and the baby all day we are exhausted!

The mood hit us this week but we had no condoms so it was a no-go.

I’m theory, but you need to be completely silent and you suddenly realise the bed makes a noise - or they go to the bathroom, or they’re going up and down stairs for something so young part the door.

Or they’re on speaker phone or video chat to other people - right on the other side of the wall...

Unless you’ve a huge house of course.

Oh heck. This is DHs biggest issue at the moment. He works from home all hours, when he isn't working I am and in between we have 2 DD

1 is an owl, 1 a lark with added autism.

DH wonders why I struggle to find time to have sex? Grrr

Bit of a lull at first, then really great.
Now DH is back working away five nights a week so we try to fit as much as poss in when he's home.
It's not easy with four kids at home, two young who get up early and two big ones who stay up late but we make the best of it. It makes a massive difference to my mood which benefits everyone!

You don't have them yet, do you?

I HATE having sex when mine are in the house. I am aware of every single movement and noise. I can't relax enough to enjoy it and when I do orgasm I have to stifle it so much it's just not really worth the effort.

Similar amount for us but more often than not it's been a quicky because DD is going to bed at a similar time to us. I don't mind though - it's a chance to connect and we both gain from it in different ways.

Mine are teens but our room is downstairs and they are both upstairs and on the opposite side of the house. They can't hear us. When we first converted the loft for them one of us went upstairs and one made lots of loud noise just to check .

Ours was good, now its crap as going through a miscarriage so not allowed to have sex. Not that I want to right now but I cant wait to be allowed to again as I miss the closeness

Same as usual here . Once or twice a week. We lock the bedroom door and get on with it. We sometimes have a quicky at lunchtime if DH is working from home but we haven't been able to do that since lockdown because...kids.

Absolutely shite. Two small kids you can never get away from really saps the mood.

It's a shame as when it happens it's great. But by the time they finally go to sleep we're so worn out we just want to zone out.

A bit less than normal but I think that's cos we're both at home so much and DD, 7, is here too. We've had a couple times of "you watch telly with the headphones on" or when we know she is on a zoom class downstairs. We usually have sex at night but we've been going to bed really late and just shattered so not as often now.

Newschapter I think for us it's because we don't do the same thing each time so we don't get bored. Sometimes we don't have intercourse as it were we just do other things. Other times (sorry if it's tmi) we play with toys (me and him), role play, bondage, anal, etc etc so we keep it very varied and are very open to trying new things.

Teenagers in the house speaking loudly to their mates on the PS4 or FaceTiming. They never go to bed. Also my partner doesn’t live with me so it was a big fat zero since lockdown but we broke the law last week.

Maybe slightly more than pre lockdown but still nowhere near enough.... I've been sexually frustrated for a loooooooong time Lockdown has just meant I've got more time to think about how unlikely it is to ever improve.

Gone downhill 😢
2 preenage kids who aren't going to bed early and don't go out any more. Think we've had it twice since lockdown. It was roughly once a week before. DH is not that bothered any way, I'm very grumpy!
