SpaceX vs George Floyd

AIBU to be baffled that so many of my acquaintances on social media are happy to share comments and reactions to the SpaceX/NASA flight but are not sharing similar reactions or comments about the murder of George Floyd?

I only post personal updates on Facebook and generally keep it to positive only (I have used it to update extended family when dd was ill) So I might post about my child’s excitement about SpaceX, but I don’t post about the Real-life discussions we are having about race and social disparity. That doesn’t mean we aren’t following those things, but for me, Facebook is like a Christmas card letter; It’s not the place to discuss anything serious.
