To want straight legs at the top without the curvy bit?

I am small I will start by saying I'm ;
5ft 1 and weigh 48-49 kg at the moment.
I know the legs with the curve at the thigh are appealing to lots of women.
I haven't exercised for years because I've had a very bad back. I've enjoyed Pilates on a reformer and also I do walk but my legs are not toned at all. My tummy is flat but legs are just really underwhelming
I have zero stamina. How do I make my legs tone up? I am actually really not clued in on this. Is there anything I can do in particular to bring the tops in so my legs are deeper instead of wider?
I don't want to run I haven't got the child care at the minute to make that happen.

Aibu to want deep set legs more sporty looking is it genetics?

If you want great, toned and svelte legs do ballet. There are loads of ballet tutorials online with a quick search on Youtube.

I don't think there is any other type of exercise that gives you strength, tone, flexibility AND lean, streamlined legs.

I think I know what OP means. I have it too, the inner thigh isn't straight, the top part has more fat than the rest of the leg.

I don't think exercise will get rid of the curve you're talking about, I have it quite intensely and Im pretty sure even with exercise you'll still have that shape it'll just be more defined.

Basically what you are saying is that you want to build muscle. That's the thing that will make your limbs not flaccid. Get some weights and do various squats and lunges, that's really all there is.

There is no such thing as 'toning'. There is losing fat, and/or building muscle

You can strengthen muscle without building more, which gives the appearance of a more toned body

Because you're putting more tension on the muscles when you hold weight. If you want to actually build muscle you need to overload the muscles. Body weight is fine but doesn't provide progressive overload so you will plateau quickly and will not build muscle. Add weight and you will, if it's heavy enough

This is the long and short of it OP. I know a lot of very fit men and women and they all have athletic physiques - some very muscly others are long and lean , but the one thing they have in common is : lots of phys!

The only way to develop your muscle is to work it. Joe Wicks videos could be a good way to start you off.

Although if you are doing Pilates regularly you should be ‘long and lean’ - is your instructor accredited? And have you been keeping it up during lockdown?

Another vote here for ballet-based workouts for legs. Kathryn Morgan on YouTube is great and provides good diet and make-up tips as well. But there are plenty others. Try to find something you enjoy with a presenter/instructor you find encouraging (there are also some intimidating and unhelpful sorts on YouTube!), be patient and feel good about what you are doing.

I did about four months with a PT with lots of squats and lunges (with weights) and suddenly had muscly quads.
Also can you please post a pic of the penis legs.

The only way to look more toned is to 1) CUT: lose body fat so the muscles can be visible - by consistently each day being in a calorie deficit and 2) BULK: once that’s done, build muscle by lifting the heaviest weights you can, increasing incrementally and while eating to maintain a calorie surplus.

Weight lifting sounds scary but it will give you THE BEST body ever. You can buy cheap stuff on eBay or gumtree.

I would recommend following Michael Matthews’ advice - his book is great but he also has loads of great resources online. legionathletics.com/michael-matthews/

I will re join because I do not have an eating disorder and there is so much great dialogue here

There are some great comments some funny comments some helpful comments some honest comments but then also to respond to some comments I have just glanced over mentioning I should be happy with my body
It's hard to accept it

Do you mean your thighs etc. Do you want them toned with muscle or slim? If toned use weights if you want slim legs start jogging.
