To dread the school run?

I hate it. But everyone else is gathering at the school gates chatting away with big smiles on their faces. What is wrong with me? Why do I have to hide in the car? I wish I wasn't so shy. I doubt that many of the mums even know my name.

The cold harsh reality is some mums are complete cows to other mums. To put it mildly. The primary school run in UK has become a modern day nasty phenomenon of its own. Lots of women seem to consider the school run a fashion show and judges show. They are more judgmental than judge Judy.
They seem to leave work, home, home office, own business ect to pick up their kids and revert to weird behaviour and actively look for someone to mock and be their target.
If you don't fit in to any mum group fear not. You may be alone in that particular playgroup but overall throughout UK this is happening to many mums. They are the ones with the problem not you.
I was pregnant and after my child was born waiting to pick my other child up, I had a complete PTA bitch of a stranger come up to me and say "oh I didn't know you were pregnant thought you just fat" I was so taken aback I just looked at the bitch. These bitches will skitt and anything and everything. A new haircut, new shoes, coats you name it.
Avoid the PTA at all costs too, trust me. That whole PTA hell needs a thread of its own.
