Oh, final note on vote by mail. Each state (actually each county in each state) sets up its own specific procedures to comply with Federal election laws. So the way my ballot is specifically handled in my county here in Nor Calif may not be the way a ballot in, say, Los Angeles County in So Calif is handled, which may not be the way the ballots in Maine are handled. But they all have to meet Federal standards.

I personally don’t think Brits are brave enough to go so outside the box with such a unique businessman/politician esp one that listens to no one other than himself even dismissing doctors when Covid is killing so many already- perhaps not his voters so much (but cynical I guess)


That's what we said in 2016 ResIpsa and look where we are now. The majority of us said "Oh he hasn't got the chance of an ice cube in hell, no one is going to vote for Trump, he's an overblown, failed businessman TV 'personality'".

I don't think BoJo is near as bad as Scrotus, but he's still pretty bad and he won approval and was made PM. It's a slippery slope and all it takes is one bad misstep.

Thanks for you comment. Given the massively failed Covid test complete Armageddon stateside everyone around the globe knows what Orange man means as no longer the 2016 surprise package anymore. Pre previous USA election I thought and he thought he was there to splash some doggy cash and have a go at bad mouthing all the regular candidates both within his party and opposition and not there to make it through the ultimate round! Possibly Mrs Clinton and her doggy dealings were slightly less bad option and so he surprisingly won. Was he not entering the political game as a joke and to take the piss initially? I mean what policies did he actually have apart from making America great again? Luckily he knows we now have nukes too! He knows next to nothing but his fans don’t give a poo! Makes all the White House staff (original) look like fools sprouting out crap on social media and being dismissive.

He is not suddenly going to change his stripes to spots or anything is he? I mean unpredictable is the only predictable forte he has right?

Orange man is just aiming to get his hard core red necks rust belt manual worker uneducated back on board, treat and bully a few overseas countries, use infant and rude language to deliberately cause maximum offence etc etc. What ever tactics has he got apart from getting Ivanka in position for future leading roles and start a new political dynasty?

His health is probably his only saving grace as despite his claims to be superman it is obvious he has moved on a bit. Young glam wives make him look even more out of place!

What is Trump’s best political deliverables? Can’t see any tangibles for US citizens?

A while back, I read an article on an analysis of Trumpy's followers on Twitter and it was suggested that a huge amount (something like 45%) were bots.

I think that Atlantic article makes a good point. Biden is pretty 'middle of the road with a slight drift to the left'. He's never been a polarizing figure à la Bernie and he's certainly not 'something new and strange' that a (gasp) female president (Warren) would have been, let alone a (horrors!) gay one (Buttigeig).

So really, what is there for him to attack? That's he old? Scrotus and Biden are only 3.5 years apart. That he's a 'socialist'? He's never really made any truly 'radical' proposals during his many years of public service. That he 'stumbles' or 'misspeaks' at times? That would truly be the pot calling the kettle black!!!

Nah, all Scrotus has is his usual tactics of 'nicknames'. But even his nickname is pretty lame in this case. 'Sleepy Joe'? Is that really the best he can do?

Isn't it right that Biden has a stutter that he's worked hard to control? Pretty mean to criticise any stumble over speech if that's the case.

And look at Trump's made up words, often said more than once, so not a slip of the tongue.

My favourite was the use of oranges for origins.... a few times in one speech
