To ask what you’ve bought to cheer yourself up

A lot of this time has been great and a real eye opener as to how many material things we don’t need. But I’m really struggling now and feel like a treat, money’s tight but I’ve spent way less than usual, so looking for an idea on a bit of a treat. What have you bought that’s made you smile?

After years of wanting one last night I bought myself a Kitchenaid Artisan. I was going to get one when I turn 50 but didn't. Last night I thought this is it found a great price and got it. I'm so happy.

Yarn, so much yarn....I am crocheting more but I can't possibly use all the yarn I have bought for years to come!

Beautiful and expensive garden furniture. I have done loads of overtime since lockdown started and we are spending less so felt well deserved.

Few new tops, glossy mags and pair of sandals. Boosts morale a few treats!

For me - a guitar to relearn, drawing books, and sketching bits and Bob's.
DH - bits for his classic car
DD - art materials and studio ghibli dvds

Nothing...just fishing for ideas!!

A robot hoover, it has changed my life. Bought it first week of lockdown and it is my best purchase ever. I have 3 young kids and I have it on at least twice a day.

Some spiced rum
Some paints to start a new hobby
Nice food

Far too much wine, and 3kg cheese!!!

Some body shop banana shampoo, conditioner and bath soak. Really cheered me up in early lock down.

I've lost my job, so nothing too expensive - just an everyday luxury.

A new dinner service in habitat sale.
Spent 90 quid on sainsbos 25% clothes. All my leggings had died so I got active wear ones. Work trousers new dress a jumpsuit pants knickers.
I’m having some perfume.

A new house 😂
And new beds, furniture etc
A nespresso machine
One of those inflatable pools
Oh and a chippy tea tonight!

A shiny new guitar stand.

Plants, seeds and compost.
Lots of bird feeders, coconut shells, fat balls etc.
A few books.
A few pretty summery tops ( even though literally no one will see them)

Wierd cushion thing for between my legs when I sleep (damn Facebook ads! Though I've resisted the blackhead sucker machine so far) not keen on it though, the strap annoys me. Back to the pillow.

I bought a rose plant today. I have one already, a yellow one, and now I've bought a pink one. I love roses!

A teeth whitening kit,some over sized sweatshirts for pottering around in and dog walks,lots of lovely fresh food inc treats,lots of strawberries,french lager to go with lime of a sunny afternoon,new nail polish,and some really posh shower creme.
