New thread to continue previous one, hope you don't mind original OP!

OP posts:

I understand that people will disagree with me
I understand that people will disagree with me
I understand that people will disagree with me
I understand that people will disagree with me

People like me, who make the law, should be held responsible (You don't say?).

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 16:49

It's the media's fault people are very angry, not his

thisenglishlife · 25/05/2020 16:49

The least risk to everyone concerned 🤣

NoMoreReluctantCustodians · 25/05/2020 16:49

Oh dear. Hes done a prince Andrew Grin

Bertoldbrecht · 25/05/2020 16:50

So this guy was the architect of the leave campaign ... Really ?

Ulver · 25/05/2020 16:50

He just admitted to His family pissing in the woods while infectious and with other people around.

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 16:50

'Any apology to people who didn't have your resources?'

No. I behaved reasonably.

SharonasCorona · 25/05/2020 16:51

Still won’t apologise. What a twat.

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 16:51

If I was a Police officer sitting across the table from him I would think 'this bastard is guilty'

SharonasCorona · 25/05/2020 16:52

Robert is shit at asking questions.

thisenglishlife · 25/05/2020 16:52

'Any apology to people who didn't have your resources?'

Nah, "I behaved reasonably".

PotholeParadise · 25/05/2020 16:52

What about the paramedics who were exposed to coronavirus from your child at a time when there seemed to be fewer infections in Durham than elsewhere in the country, and the people those paramedics went on to have contact with?

Did they "pay reasonably"? Should they have had to "pay reasonably"?

SharonasCorona · 25/05/2020 16:52

And why didn’t his sister bring his son home from hospital if he was so ill?

thisenglishlife · 25/05/2020 16:53

Eee, Eee, Eee, um

Ulver · 25/05/2020 16:53

It’s not a disease it’s a virus.
Ffs he’s in charge of lockdown rules.

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 16:54

He hasn't, and can't, find an excuse for driving to Durham while symptomatic and that's the crux of it. He broke the single most important rule in terms of CV - do not leave your home if you have any symptoms.

Lifeisgenerallyfun · 25/05/2020 16:54

“Any apology to people who didn’t have the resources”

So you want a guy to apologise for his dad having a spare cottage, Jesus Christ!!

He left London because twats were threatening him and his family.

Well done Dominic for standing up to the bullies!

donkeyoatey · 25/05/2020 16:54

Did I just get that right?
He may not even have had Covid, yet still went up to Durham??

Ulver · 25/05/2020 16:54

Exactly
Durham now has the highest level in the country

FliesandPies · 25/05/2020 16:54

Eee, Eee, Eee, um

Peston does my head in

StealthPolarBear · 25/05/2020 16:55

Knew it "I'm sorry if people feel I've acted badly"
Hadn't imagined the road trip test to barnard castle

Ulver · 25/05/2020 16:55

He left London because twats were threatening him and his family.

I knew he would try that.
All mps get threats it’s not an excuse.

Mrsemcgregor · 25/05/2020 16:55

Lifeisgenerallyfun 🤣

HelsinkiLights · 25/05/2020 16:55

Robert Peston's questioning style is brilliant.
He reminds me of DD's Reception Teacher who when faced with a naughty 5 year old, would tilt her head to one side, look at said child firmly & say 'Dominic I'm so disappointed with your behaviour'.....
Cue Dominic bursting into tears & saying 'I'm sorry Miss'

attackedbycritters · 25/05/2020 16:55

The fact that the press reported this may mean that people are more likely to beak rules

!!!!
