To think that puppies should be illegal?

They’re just too much. Their big eyes, little noses, fat bellies ... the way they wobble when they walk and jump around and pounce on things like they’re a million times bigger than they are ... I just can’t be doing with it. Everytime I see a puppy I just want to squash it. My girl is 1 year old today and I’ve been looking at her puppy photos and videos ... she was totally unreasonable to bounce around the garden acting app ridiculously cute at 8 weeks old. Puppies are just too much!

@DesdemonaDryEyes people can be right cunts. I would happily cage puppy farmers and give them exactly the same “care” they gave their dogs.

Doesn’t mean everyone who has a litter is on their level. At the moment threads like these are keeping many of us going 🙂

That’s so sad. Are you fostering her or keeping her? She looks so broken. I hope she has a loving and happy life and realises that not all humans are scum. My wee dog, that would eat your face if you don’t know how to handle him, is from a horrible breeder. He was got by them as a pet, because they bred large dogs, but he ended up being horribly abused. He’s got all sorts of lasting physical and emotional damage as a result. He’s the weirdest looking critter as a result, but he’s gorgeous in my eyes.

I get ridiculously puppy broody when I look back at photos from when we first got DDog. I remember the day we brought him home - I put him on the living room floor and it just felt so surreal to watch this little furry jelly bean gambolling around the furniture.

I miss the baby days when he would sleep all day, on my lap with his tiny round tummy 😭

The dog @DesdemonaDryEyes posted is called Clementine - currently being looked after by Spaniel Aid after being treated appallingly. I saw her picture on Instagram earlier and cried my eyes out. Hopefully she'll be on her way to her forever home soon!

Why are puppies so much cuter than babies? That's what I don't get. I mean, yeah, most babies are fairly cute, but puppies are just in a whole other league. Shouldn't we find our own species the most appealing?
