Just that really - would you have quietly stocked up on hand sanitiser? Done something sooner? Taken up a hobby? Changed job?

Buy home gym equipment!

Dailyjunglegrind · 16/05/2020 21:07

Brought a treadmill, spin bike and noise proof room to retreat (hide) from the children during home schooling and live in multi purpose au pair /tutor to help deal with home schooling and the squillion meals required & mess the family generate....

Maybe take the kids and move in with my parents as they live in the countryside and have a huge house and we are in a flat. Also I don't know when I will get to see them again, probably not this year. Sad

OwlBeThere · 16/05/2020 21:09

Booked a flight to NZ.

Weekday28 · 16/05/2020 21:11

Not taken those extra hours at work. I'm bloody knackered.

Helpfulrabbit · 16/05/2020 21:11

My advice for myself would be to get out of England as fast as possible. Anywhere would be better than here for the virus, I can’t believe how unlucky I am to have been born in the country with the most deaths. I refuse to even leave the house because I don’t want to leave my baby girl without a Mother in this cruel world.

totallyyesno · 16/05/2020 21:12

Get the piano tuned. It’s well overdue and will become painful to play.
Oh yes, this too! Poor neighbours.

FloggingMoll · 16/05/2020 21:12

Gone to say goodbye to my DGD, before he was hospitalised for pneumonia then sent to a nursing home with symptoms of dementia. I doubt I'll see him again now.

Taken my DD to visit my DS and my nieces and nephews.

Thrown all the crap out of the tiny yard space we have, pulled up the paving slabs and planted every conceivable flower I could think of.

Not told my DP off for thinking about buying a dog. My DD is an only child and she's lonely in lockdown.

bananaskinsnomnom · 16/05/2020 21:12

I would tell myself to book that trip in February Half term which I decided not too as I didn’t want to go alone but couldn’t find someone to go with. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed for my trip October....

I would have stocked up on more DIY stuff! Paint especially!

I would have bought a shed in the January sales.

I would have made sure I had seen people each weekend instead of having lazy weekends because I’ll catch up with everyone in the Easter holidays! Should have battled through exhaustion

Bought a hot tub.

Incrediblytired · 16/05/2020 21:13

Move to New Zealand

MinorArcana · 16/05/2020 21:14

Major decluttering.

Twiglet2353 · 16/05/2020 21:17

It would be a week before my son was born.
I'd tell myself that it's okay to ask for help or have someone else hold him so I could sleep, and doing so wouldn't mean I was a bad mother.

WonderfullyaMummy · 16/05/2020 21:18

Refuse the induction.

Buy shampoo.

pandarific · 16/05/2020 21:19

Go to get some winter sun, just book the holiday. Book an amazing hotel, eat your body weight in free chocolate crepes, take a million pictures of your lovely baby in the pool, and be happy.

louisethedisease · 16/05/2020 21:20

Wish we hadn't booked our first summer holiday abroad in 8 years as it's not looking like we can go now.

MrsKCastle · 16/05/2020 21:22

@09Grumpylockeddownwoman
Thank you.

ddl1 · 16/05/2020 21:24

maddy68 · 16/05/2020 21:30

I'd have stayed abroad.

ViciousJackdaw · 16/05/2020 21:30

I would have bought a lot more seeds, bulbs and compost.

rosegoldwatcher · 16/05/2020 21:32
