Just that really - would you have quietly stocked up on hand sanitiser? Done something sooner? Taken up a hobby? Changed job?

Stockpile bread flour! Actually I bought 4.5kg of it today, made me very happy!

timeforawine · 17/05/2020 15:16

Don’t book that holiday to New Zealand for Nov 2020.

That’s going to a be a fun one to sort out :-( if the flights go but NZ require quarantine on arrival we are relaying on the travel agents good will to allow us to cancel and get a voucher. See what the situation is in August when the final balance is due.....

Grumpylockeddownwoman · 17/05/2020 15:20

Oh I never shared mine! I wish I hadn’t have bought a brand new car (which is now barely used), hadn’t bought a load of summer clothes a size down ;was religiously going to the gym and dieting - that’s all gone to pot),

Don't ask exH to pop round and jump start your car so you can go and pick up DD. He will work his way back into your life and cause havoc again.

KellyHall · 17/05/2020 15:22

Totally unrelated to covid - I'd take anti sickness tablets on my Christmas holiday, the sea was so rough it was one of those crossings where EVERYONE was sick Sad

MrsAvocet · 17/05/2020 15:25

Don't have the surgery you get a short notice appointment for in early March. It will go hideously wrong and leave you a lot worse off than you were pre op. Plus you won't get proper follow up due to clinics etc being cancelled.

ryanne · 17/05/2020 15:28

Start the diet now.
Don't book the wedding!

wherestheotherone · 17/05/2020 15:31

Buy yeast and bread flour now. Have that huge party with friends and family. Don't buy that beautiful summer dress for the wedding 🙄. Go away for a spa weekend with the DH now, don't wait till the summer 🙄. Decorate DC bedroom now because come next year (lockdown) you'll all be at home with the DC, working full time and homeschooling and won't have time to fart 😁

RunningNinja79 · 17/05/2020 15:33

Not booked that hotel room in Liverpool for next weekend or at least booked a refundable room. The hotel just want to give us vouchers, but I'd rather have a refund as I've booked another for next year (there are reasons why I dont want to go to that hotel, but that's another thread)

JustStayHome · 17/05/2020 15:34

@JingsMahBucket

They are rolling in it.
So many cards been bought during lock down

Tellmetruth4 · 17/05/2020 15:36

I would’ve sorted my barnet out and gone on that ski trip we’d been talking about but put off until next winter. I love going abroad and will find it very difficult being stuck here until God knows when.

Settle59 · 17/05/2020 15:50

Stick to a strict diet/exercise progam

bellinisurge · 17/05/2020 15:52

I'm a general prepper so I wouldn't need to Wink. Ok, maybe get a haircut.

PermanentTemporary · 17/05/2020 15:53

Not decided to end it with my FWB at the end of November. He said let's leave it open. I decided I'd like to see him again in mid January, he took a few weeks to persuade and now it is going to be a hell of a long time without sex Sad

JingsMahBucket · 17/05/2020 16:56

@bellinisurge hah! :)

@JustStayHome ohhh that makes sense.

Grumpylockeddownwoman · 17/05/2020 18:22

Go to Disney world now!

Buy flour, hand sanitiser, masks, and toilet roll. Have lots and lots of extended family time, meals, days out, just sitting and talking. Hug people.

Get some lots of diy stuff to redecorate.

Lifejacket · 17/05/2020 18:27

Gets as many nights away with the hubby as possible

geekone · 17/05/2020 18:27

To apply for the job

Me too ! £180 wasted

GingerFigs · 17/05/2020 18:45

Spent more time with the ones I love. Somebody very dear to me has passed away and I regret that work and other "life" stuff got in the way too often.

halexanderamilton · 17/05/2020 18:49

Don't change jobs.

SabrinaThwaite · 17/05/2020 18:55

Switch the pension fund to cash and bonds.

Shefliesonherownwings · 17/05/2020 19:18

I'd have made sure DD was born by c section earlier into labour or even before i went into labour. Instead unbeknownst to me and Dh she struggled too much and then passed away. Sorry to ruin the spirit of the thread but it will always be my biggest regret that I didn't notice she was struggling and I feel I should have. Sad
