Just that really - would you have quietly stocked up on hand sanitiser? Done something sooner? Taken up a hobby? Changed job?

Stocked up on flour, yeast, and tins, and made sure that the food in the freezer wasn't so blah.

Not had my hair re-cut into an asymmetric bob. It's been 15 long weeks since I saw my hairdresser...

You’re about to be offered a job. Don’t take it. for reasons that take too long to explain, the kids are about to need a lot more from you...

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 16/05/2020 19:59

I'd have got another job.. I am stuck in a job I hate and wanted to get at least a year under my belt so it didn't look bad on my CV.. I completed the year by the end of Feb and was ready to hit the job market.. I'd already been for a few interviews and even turned an offer down as I thought I could get something better. Now I don't know how long I'll be stuck where I am, although i do realise I am lucky to have a job at all when others are losing theirs.

Sindragosan · 16/05/2020 19:59

I'd have gone to the hairdresser, dentist, nurse and physio before March. Stocked up on bread flour and yeast and bought some outdoor toys.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 16/05/2020 19:59

If not, then - eat out at least once a week for the next six months.

ssd · 16/05/2020 20:10

You know how you worry all the time but feel like you don't really have anything to worry about!?

Well that's gonna change.

CorianderLord · 16/05/2020 20:11

Not much... wash your hands. I moved jobs 6 mo ago to one that wasn't furloughed and was an 11k pay rise that I can do at home so it was a time of good decisions!
