Just that really - would you have quietly stocked up on hand sanitiser? Done something sooner? Taken up a hobby? Changed job?

Tell my father in law to take it seriously and stay home. Sad

NerdyBird · 17/05/2020 03:10

I'd have got the couple of jobs that need doing in our house done instead of being lazy.
Bought a trampoline.

Ideally also to note some winning lottery numbers - preferably set for life but anything from £250,000 up would do me.

MiniMum97 · 17/05/2020 04:00

Oh and I'd also take sell all my investments!

antipodalpizza · 17/05/2020 05:00

I'd sell my soul to Satan for some tins of chick peas

You called ? 👿

JRUIN · 17/05/2020 05:19

Tell my mum I loved her.

exLtEveDallas · 17/05/2020 07:08

In Nov? Not paid this years site fees for the caravan we can’t use. Used the money saved to purchase an iPad for elderly parents, sorted WiFi out for them and taught them how to use FaceTime/WhatsApp.
Mum is deaf, dad is hard of hearing and they live an hour away. It’s bloody hard to stay in contact.

Other than that, nothing really. Maybe bought the new mattress we definitely need now instead of putting it off. My back would thank me.

Ohffs66 · 17/05/2020 07:11

Start saving, you're going to need it!

Krabapple · 17/05/2020 07:58

Make the most of every day. Go out whenever possible instead of opting for a quiet night (or weekend). You are going to have plenty of those coming up. Also see friends and family as much as possible.

OneInEight · 17/05/2020 08:03

Not postponed the visit to my dm. Bought some seeds. Bought all the DIY stuff dh needs to finish off all the unfinished DIY jobs in the house. Bought lots of flour (only thing we have run out of).

feebeecat · 17/05/2020 10:05

I was going to say, not pay off the PGL trips early to get them out of the way, not book so many gigs either, but think I’ll just go with emigrate to New Zealand.

FraughtwithGin · 17/05/2020 10:09

Do not take the contract offered.
It will a waste of time, cause monumental stress and won't make any money.

FraughtwithGin · 17/05/2020 10:10

Sultanarama · 17/05/2020 10:12

Sell shares, buy a good video camera, move to New Zealand!

Futureplanning · 17/05/2020 10:37

Not done the big reveal to DS that we were finally going to Disney World in May.

Bought more flour.

Had a day out with my mum.

Feel quite lucky in that during the previous 6 months I'd had lots of days out and events with friends for our 40th's, timing for all that was perfect.

Whohasnickedmyvodka · 17/05/2020 10:40

Mov to ireland to be with my dp

dontevenblink · 17/05/2020 10:41

I would have told my mum to fly out to see us in NZ in January instead of this September when she was supposed to come. I haven't seen her for almost 2 years and I have no idea how long it will be before our borders reopen and she will be allowed in, current guess is at least a year 😥 She lives alone and I really worry about her. Hearing so many of you say you would like to be in NZ makes me grateful we are here though.

Stinkycatbreath · 17/05/2020 10:43

You should have moved to rural north wales whilw you had the chance, you wouldn't even have had to give up your job. You should not spent any money on musci festivals this year..

TeddyIsaHe · 17/05/2020 10:45

Start my house renovations 6 months earlier because living in a half finished building site with a 3 year old in lockdown is shite.

Stock up on hand sanitiser and masks.

JingsMahBucket · 17/05/2020 14:54

@JustStayHome what’s going on with Moon Pig?

GatoFofo · 17/05/2020 14:56

Change jobs and go on holiday over the Christmas holidays.

JingsMahBucket · 17/05/2020 14:56

I also would’ve gotten more into running.

Xenia · 17/05/2020 15:00

Not booked family holidaty on 1 Jan (wich was cancelled lsat week - now battling to get £2020 back) and not booked non refundable hotel rooms for the twins' graduations - over £700 down the drain there too.....

However my decision about 2 years ago to stop giving public talks and stop meeting clients face to face and decision in 1994 to work from home and work for myself were bang on the money actually - I am very very very lucky in a sense to have started lock down then.

It would have been nice to see my daughter's new house never mind her children as soon as they moved in. Instead I went to the seeing my older son's new house in early March and then on with him to visit the twin s' university houses in Bristol leaving my daughter to end of March which then could not happen. On the other hand just as well saw the 3 sons' places in early March.

HumphreyGoodmanswife · 17/05/2020 15:02

Not to book that virgin flight as the scum won't give you your money back Angry

BeltaneBride · 17/05/2020 15:07

Love these! Sympathise re MOT. Mine was bookies got the last day before lockdown when I heard they were extended. I cancelled because I feared it failing and being stuck with a failed one unable to get it fixed.

SleepingStandingUp · 17/05/2020 15:11

Tried harder to move house
