Because I’m 27 and I still don’t! I feel like I’m pretending and on the inside I’m still that insecure teenager worrying whether or not people like me. I have a job, a mortgage, bills etc.

I watch my friends having kids and am often broody myself but then I think oh my god that’s something ADULTS do, I’m not an adult yet!

Where am I going wrong? When did you all start feeling like a proper adult?

When I got to 40 I suddenly realised I'm an adult and can stick up for myself, I don't have to put up with things I don't like. It started with telling shop assistants ' Are you going to serve me or chat to your mate all day' and 'Do you know your job is to assist people' etc but I realised after a while I was getting a bit to balshy and rude so had to reign myself in and be more polite. But I still stand up for myself.

I’m still waiting, I’m 32.

35, still feeling like a 17 year old.

I'm 32, 10 years married, own our own house, senior job etc. Hasn't happened yet. I still have massive imposter syndrome and although I don't behave like a dirty student anymore in my head I still feel like one.
