I know that their living depends on staying relevant but these are challenging times for such self indulgence when people have more pressing issues. But some celebs who are normally not massively annoying, are making reputation destroying SM entries.
So far, The usually wonderful Ellen has peed off a lot of people, Michael Buble, Ollie Muirs(???), Madonna and loads more.

Tbf Jason Manford is on my villages local Facebook, and he is volunteering and getting tagged by a lot of grateful residents. He's not shouting about it and is doing a really good job. I think other people are bragging about it as they like the idea of a celeb taking them to hospital and that's why it's being picked up.

The dressing up doesn't really bother me, people get bored but it;s the gob always wide open, tongue out, manic expressions, jumping around. I think she thinks she looks sexy doing it? She looks deranged. 'I come alive at night' - right you are love.

I don't follow much celebrity news, but what I don't get is why someone like Amanda Holden needs to do all this posing. Prompted by this thread I had a quick look at her Instagram and every second post seemed to show cleavage, tight clothing, her hands on hips etc. I sort of understand why young women starting out might do that kind of thing to get publicity - Liz Hurley is a case in point - but Amanda is in her late forties and famous already. Why does she need to do it? She works on the radio - no one can see her there. She is married - is it that she wants other men to fancy her or something? At what point will she stop?

I am on a one-woman campaign to bring back the nineties term 'poser' and 'posing' - which used to be seen as very bad form - as being very applicable to the social media age.

Amanda Holden - whose eyes have now disappeared due to excessive use of botox - burbling on about her improved sex life and 5G masts. Christine McGuinness in her nasty nylon underwear. Baroness Michelle Mone showcasing her scary new face. Any celeb boasting about their charity work - just do it and don't tell us about it.
