Which celebs have made arses of themselves in their quest to entertain /crave attention

I know that their living depends on staying relevant but these are challenging times for such self indulgence when people have more pressing issues. But some celebs who are normally not massively annoying, are making reputation destroying SM entries.
So far, The usually wonderful Ellen has peed off a lot of people, Michael Buble, Ollie Muirs(???), Madonna and loads more.
Any others making your cringe gland rupture?

I know I am part of the problem and this is not important but I am bored.

Jesse from little mix keeps popping up on my Instagram, not a fan

Jamelia jamil has been super annoying (no change there i guess)

I unfollowed most celebs I was following near the start of lockdown as all the pouty and semi naked pics were extra annoying

It's taken weeks but my Instagram feed is slowly changing from celebs to much more interesting things. When I say feed by the way I mean the search bit, not who I actually follow

Ellen was no surprise, reading that she isn't very nice to staff.

All the others mentioned , Sam Smith etc. No surprise!

I will have absolutely nothing to do with James (Yorkshire) Martin since he wrote this:
“Twenty minutes into my test drive I pulled round a leafy bend, enjoying the birdsong - and spotted those damned Spider-Man cyclists. Knowing they wouldn't hear me coming, I stepped on the gas, waited until the split second before I overtook them, then gave them an almighty blast on the horn at the exact same time I passed them at speed.

“The look of sheer terror as they tottered into the hedge was the best thing I've ever seen in my rear-view mirror. I think this could be the car for me."
Cunt.

What's Olly done? What's this imagine cover? How have I missed all of this??

I can't stand Amanda Holden as she is so try hard! She looks great but it's all a bit OTT and it makes me feel a bit sad for her.

Joe Lycett is amazing!

When Caroline flack died I was so pissed off at the amount of slebs who posted screenshots of messages they'd exchanged with her, almost as if they were trying to absolve themselves of blame etc! I just found it so "me me me".

user1471565182 No! Is he really from Yorkshire. I have only heard him say it thousands of times! Won't believe it until it reaches the million mark! Let's hope he uses a lot of butter with that pasta!

Years ago, there was a super injunction about a celebrity who had been caught having an affair. Before it was revealed to be Hugh Bonneville, and still under legal wraps, the press were going on about the actor involved being "the finest actor of his generation" and there were loads of threads on here with us all going "Robert de Niro?" " Anthony Hopkins?" "Meryl Streep?" Etc etc. Then it was revealed to be HB and everyone was "finest actor of his generation????"
His agent had clearly done a fine job with the brief for the press, but having him called that was ridiculous, and now I can't look at him without muttering "my arse".
He's not in the Andi McDowell or Martine McCutcheon league of bad, but finest? Of his generation? Gerraway.

Yes to Michael Palin. According to him we all should stay in lock down until we lose our jobs and homes just to show solidarity with over 70s who have nothing to lose financially by staying in at home

Except he didn't say that. He said it would be wrong to exclude all over 70s from lockdown easing when many are perfectly perfectly healthy and fit. Which is, basically, the opposite.

For those who don’t know, Leanne Brown is a former Real Housewife of Cheshire, noted for being married to a footballer, whom she met whilst lap dancing.

Katherine Jenkins - absolutely. So up her own arse.

Amanda Holden - famous for marrying Les Dennis. So utterly despicable to be in the public eye. Botoxed to the brim.

This is my thread... rolls up sleeves

Paddy Mcguiness's wife - Jesus Christ, 1 minute complaining they've had no time for each other with there 3 kids, the next minutes she's put up a new Tik Tok video for the world to see, a new workout or the most excruciating thing my eyes have seen in all their time - a self made lingerie shoot for Ann summers in her own bedroom. I'd like to come out of lockdown just so I dont see her half naked popping into my face daily.

Jessy nelson from little mix - why is she dressing up to have photos taken of her in her own house, we get what you look like. I can only image there manager is saying to keep putting up pictures because to have to do that voluntarily im not sure I could be bothered.

Trinny woodhall - so called style expert on this morning, informing me yesterday I could play with colour in my wardrobe while sat at home, why dont I pair a Burgundy top with orange earrings - because I have taste trinny, and also not been out of pjs in quite some time during to the fact i'm not going anywhere outside my front gate, thanks all the same.

Ive seen the Olly mrs thing, whilst I do cringe for him I think its age appropriate for the audience he plays to and thins 40 something just doesn't cut it. I find it mundane - also what on earth was he thinking bleaching his hair.

Doesn't it occur to anyone that the 'following' of total strangers on social media actually encourages them to self publicise their tedious lives? If so many people weren't so fascinated by 'celebs' ' lives, if they were not 'followed' and were ignored they would need to be so egotistical.

Grayson Perry is my current favourite, love his art club. Mine too.
I love that man. I watched the latest episode and it was a revelation. Him, his wife and his cat. Harry Hill, Noel Fielding Maggi Hambling and her fags and cans of Special Brew Grin.
There are so many irritants out there and this pandemic has brought out the worst in them. Jake Quickenden, Dr Sarah Jarvis on Jeremy Vine, Paddy McGuiness and wife, Robbie Williams and wife etc etc
One thing I did love on the Big Night In was Lou and Andy's bat sketch. The rest was attention seeking shite.
Adverts where companies are trying to cash in on the pandemic. But Kevin Bacon's EE one sounds so real. I love him.
Thanks OP for getting all of this off my chest. Flowers to everyone on here having to endure these insufferable bores on SM. Grin

The Beckhams for being too thick to realise that being so public in their self isolation in a sprawling second home is just beyond vulgar and not good at a time when so many people are suffering. For using public money for her vanity project. No to mention on going exposure of their, bog standard and dead ordinary offspring, can nothing be private with these people.

I've heard about the 'Imagine' video so have finally watched it. I'm sore. At least that gets me out of joining in with Joe Wicks today as that full body clench was enough of a workout. My god!

Don’t follow people if they annoy you, surely thats the best thing to do?

One of our neighbours is an actor, he’s been doing food delivers for food2you who supply fresh food to vulnerable people who are 50+, shopping for shielding people and he’s also been raising money for magicbreky who provide breakfast for over 48,000 children in the UK.

One of the celebrities I have enjoyed watching is Sophie Ellis Bextor.

She has a Friday night ‘concert’ in her kitchen surrounded by her five boys who sometimes get involved.
Really lovely
