Which celebs have made arses of themselves in their quest to entertain /crave attention

I know that their living depends on staying relevant but these are challenging times for such self indulgence when people have more pressing issues. But some celebs who are normally not massively annoying, are making reputation destroying SM entries.
So far, The usually wonderful Ellen has peed off a lot of people, Michael Buble, Ollie Muirs(???), Madonna and loads more.
Any others making your cringe gland rupture?

I know I am part of the problem and this is not important but I am bored.

Grayson Perry is my current favourite, love his art club.

Oh the Beckhams. 🤮
The worst sort of sleb.
As pp have said, the furlough reaction while sitting on millions. I know this has been reversed now but the bubble they must be in to make such a bad choice in the first place boggles the mind. Just awful.

Oh yes, GP is fab. Interesting. I like his wife too.

I think the celebs flaunting what they would have worn to the met gala came across as pretty crass. That event is such and ridiculous circus of excess and narcissism anyway.

The "Imagine" rendition kicked off by Gal Gadot with multiple other celebrities then joining in the caterwauling. Just excruciating.

I actually couldn't look. Just awful. Totally outclassed by a band I thought were weird, scary idiots. twitter.com/i/status/1244620402023895041

Actually good. They still look like deformed Muppets.

Yes! Gary Barlow lurching towards the camera repeatedly got on my nerves

Leanne Brown - there's a microchip in the vaccine

Olly Murs, oh God that man! Total cringe. I don't understand how he still has a career, seriously I don't get it. His music was average at best, surely he should have drifted away by now.

Gary Barlow and his crooners.

Several love island women taking selfie's in mirrors in underwear. I was hoping that nonsense might go out of fashion given the current situation we're all in.

Chris O'Dowd was immediately mortified by the imagine video said he thought it was for charity

I can't stand Jason Manford anyway but all of this volunteering, applying for jobs and "doing his bit" is purely just for public recognition and adoration. He would be more impressive if he did these things quietly and selflessly and STFU about it.

Chris O'Dowd would tuck into a bag of justin bieber's vomit if he thought it would get him into Hollywood.

Joe Lycett’s response to Imagine is, however, a thing of beauty.

My fav celebs on the other hand: Greyson Perry, all of the vile Tiger King crew and Joe Lycett.

Jessi from Little Mix...i think her pictures are a little OTT. She would look better dressed down for lockdown but in guess its up to her...

Can’t think how I missed Leanne Brown’s views on vaccinations. Perhaps because she chose to take her crusade directly to the public via the pages of The Sun, rather than having her findings peer reviewed by academics then published in The Lancet or something.

Here is an extract. It is powerful stuff. It will bring down the medical establishment, probably.

I am not aiming to scare mongering (sic) but the scaring (sic) is already out there day in day out from our daily programming from the tv, media, schools, doctors on a daily basis, we just don’t see it because we are not looking properly

For those who don’t know, Leanne Brown is a former Real Housewife of Cheshire, noted for being married to a footballer, whom she met whilst lap dancing.

I felt bad for them, they were trying so hard to do something special and it sank like a stone. Someone worked hard to put that together and it was just so sad.

The Beckham’s are doing my head in. They’re losing all perspective, especially VB who’s furloughed her staff and has now ‘backtracked’ her decision.
Richard Branson is even more of a prick. Self explanatory.
I love Hugo Boss aka Joe Lycett. He makes a dull day bright.

This is quite a good one: m.youtube.com/watch?v=dCO0DXAc0tk

I had to squint to recognise most of them outside their usual red carpet finery though!

But with regards to people like Jason Mansford and Joe Pasquale - why does everyone know they’re volunteering and applying for jobs? Why can’t they just quietly get on with it? Doesn’t it somewhat defeat the object of charitable work?

This is why I’m not on social media - I fucking HATE attention seekers.

Dh and I have been laughing about how excruciating it must be for celebs during this lockdown - they just can’t function without the constant “likes” and being papped etc. so are thinking of ever more desperate ways to get exposure. Sad, sad, sad.

I love Grayson too - and his wife. His portrait of her last week did make dh and I laugh though! It was so sweet when she cried.
