To think Ollie Murs is a disgrace based on his TikTok?

I don't generally use TikTok, but this stupid thing has been shared right across my social media.

Basically, he made a video of himself cutting the bottom out of a Pringles can. Then took a video of himself and his girlfriend watching tv, eating Pringles from the can, placed on his crotch--so eventually she reached in to find her hand on his penis, which was poked through the bottom of the can.

So, as a joke, he got her to unexpectedly touch his penis. And made a video of himself doing it. On a platform largely used by young people.

Is it just me, or is getting someone to touch your genitalia without consent actually sexual assault?

shrewd? thats a compliment you know- how long have you been calling people shrewd for without realising?

Eatsshoootsandleaves · 05/05/2020 08:21

There is something really wrong with his thinking. It is not amusing, or entertaining, to trick a person into touching your genitals, he is way off the mark with this one. I wouldn't be surprised if this has long lasting implications for his career.

Helmetbymidnight · 05/05/2020 08:21

that was funny- op, you shrewd thing, you.

Goggle1968 · 05/05/2020 08:21

He’s horrible. I’ve seen a few of his videos pop up on Facebook recently and he seems to think he’s being funny but I think he comes across and really arrogant and disrespectful to his girlfriend. I’m sure it’s in jest but I just don’t like it.

olly murs could be a bit more shrewd for sure.

Queenoftheashes · 05/05/2020 08:23

He’s no shrewd prude dude

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 05/05/2020 08:24

He did a sing along with a few other male artists last week and it was cringe watching him. He dressed and acted at least a decade behind the rest and, frankly, brought nothing to it.

TheoneandObi · 05/05/2020 08:24

Inappropriate, but pretty sure they're starting to stage those gags, so the Pringles one was probably consensual

HarrietTheShy · 05/05/2020 08:25

YANBU. He's normalising sex assault. Young, impressionable viewers will watch and think it's acceptable.

missyB1 · 05/05/2020 08:25

Just another desperate for any kind of attention “celeb”. What a saddo.

EthelMayFergus · 05/05/2020 08:25

This lock down has been quite enlightening in terms of attention seeking prattish behaviour from celebs. There's a few that I won't be able to look at the same way again, including Olly Murs.

TerrifiedandWorried · 05/05/2020 08:25

Do you think maybe shrewd was a typo?

Amanduh · 05/05/2020 08:26

He was an annoying twat before lockdown, he’s still an annoying twat now. Simpleton.

Ohfrigginghellers · 05/05/2020 08:26

He comes across as sleazy to me

Sadiesnakes · 05/05/2020 08:26

Well it certainly wouldn't make me laugh, and my son has way more intelligence to even consider thinking this was even funny, but if he did, I'd tell him and his girlfriend to grow up and get off tiktok.

Biscuit0110 · 05/05/2020 08:28

Yuk - really grim. Starved of oxygen and attention it seems some will sink to ridiculous levels pretty quickly.

I would dump a boyfriend on the spot for this kind of behaviour. How old is he???

BubblyBarbara · 05/05/2020 08:28

Absolutely disgusting. I hope we leave sexual assault “jokes” like this in the pre lockdown world along with bum pinching, wolf whistling and pick up lines.

Christ, if it was salt and vinegar he'd have got his comeuppance pretty quickly..

CeeceeBloomingdale · 05/05/2020 08:31

I'm sure Pringles are absolutely delighted at this.

Igotthemheavyboobs · 05/05/2020 08:32

Loads of people have done this on tik tok. I really doubt you see his actual cock poking through on the video and I really doubt he actually put his actual knob in. I don't find it funny but I can't get worked up about two people pranking each other.

traveller11 · 05/05/2020 08:32

I thought it was hilarious.
They have a very jokey/pranky relationship

Lighten up

UnfinishedSymphon · 05/05/2020 08:32

Oh come on, it was quite clearly a joke and she was most definitely in on it, as a PP said, who puts their hand right into a Pringles tube especially in someone else's lap - you have to pick it up and hold it or you wouldn't get your hand back out.

Yeah he's a dick but I wouldn't say he was abusive or committing sexual assault if she's in on it...which she is

Monstamio · 05/05/2020 08:33

I'm sure it was staged, but that's not really the point, is it? How many teenage boys now think this is a hilarious cheeky prank to try out on some unsuspecting schoolmate post lockdown? And of course, she will have to laugh it off otherwise she's a prude/frigid/can't take a joke. Hahaha Hmm
