What did they say when you contacted them?

DontStandSoCloseToMe · 26/04/2020 12:24

Did you not cancel before the 7 days was up?

OpenWheelRace · 26/04/2020 12:25

What are you getting the refund for? Did you not cancel the free trial?

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 26/04/2020 12:25

As far as i know there should have been no money taken if you cancelled withing the trial period

Buzzfrightyears · 26/04/2020 12:26

Have you tried contacting them on social media?

Peanutbutteryogurt · 26/04/2020 12:28

You don't pay for the free trial, you do need to cancel the subscription though

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 26/04/2020 12:29

You have to cancel before the trial is up. If you didnt cancel before that the i doubt you'll get the money back.

Pleasedontdrawonyoursister · 26/04/2020 12:31

You need to cancel before the trial is up. Sounds like you didn’t cancel in time unfortunately. I did the same with a free trial of an app on my phone, ended up paying £19.99 which I could really have done with but it was totally my fault.

sufferingsandra · 26/04/2020 12:32

If you didn’t cancel then I don’t know what recourse you’ll have but I do hope you get your money back

OhioOhioOhio · 26/04/2020 12:33

I was one day late but I want to cancel it from now?

OP posts:
Oysterbabe · 26/04/2020 12:33

What are you asking to be refunded and why?

ScrumptiousBears · 26/04/2020 12:34

I didn't cancel mine and they took £5.99 for the month. I cancelled and few days later.

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 26/04/2020 12:36

If you were one day late then you pay. Simple as that sadly. Just go into your account and cancel subscription now

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 26/04/2020 12:38

For future, I can highly recommend putting reminder into a calendar. I have it always on my google calendar for the day before and the last day of free trial😁

Aragog · 26/04/2020 12:38

If you cancel it they will stop charging you from next month, but you're unlikely to get a refund for the current month as you were a day late cancelling.

STAYTHEFUCKHOME · 26/04/2020 12:38

How much are you asking for back? I don’t think their cancellation policy will give you much, if I’m honest.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 26/04/2020 12:38

Cancel it now, but you wont get refunded because you'll have access until the next payment would have been due.

VanWinkle13 · 26/04/2020 12:39

How have you been waiting a month but want to cancel from now?

CaryStoppins · 26/04/2020 12:40

Have you cancelled it now?

Parmavioletmum · 26/04/2020 12:41

Nope no refund if you were late to cancel. Make sure you cancel now so next month they won't take the money and the subscription will run until the month is up. They won't refund because you forgot otherwise anyone and everyone could do that.

Mlou32 · 26/04/2020 12:42

You didn't cancel in time so you won't get your money back. Cancel now so that you don't need to pay next month.

Glitteryone · 26/04/2020 12:42

You aren’t due a refund if you didn’t cancel on time!

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 26/04/2020 12:43

@VanWinkle13 that's a good question actually

VanWinkle13 · 26/04/2020 12:43

I'm assuming OP paid yearly not monthly.

wastinglife · 26/04/2020 12:43

One day late is too late to cancel. They won’t give you a refund.
I once cancelled the euro breakdown cover on my car insurance a day late due to a misunderstanding of dates on the phone with the sales person. I ended up having to pay an extra £30pm for the year Sad
