I've signed up for the free trial, they are supposed to have givene my money back. Still waiting. More than a month. I'm skint and really need that money.

Try them on social media they may give you a refund to be gracious but definitely not entitled to as you were a day late

Slowyourboat · 26/04/2020 15:13

Is it really worth the time on the phone/computer for £6? Just enjoy an extra month of Disney!

OnlyJudyCanJudgeMe · 26/04/2020 15:18

You were late cancelling, so you forfeited the money....tough luck I’m afraid.

Becclescake · 26/04/2020 19:00

Best thing to do is sign up then cancel straight away. You usually get the access to the free trial up until the end date anyway.

WiddlinDiddlin · 28/04/2020 02:49

Mmm..

I sign up to stuff then set a reminder to cancel the day before the free trial ends.

I think you need to do this in future OP as you don't seem to know the difference between weeks and months - Disney plus was launched on the 24th March, so it's been around for a month and 4 days.

Therefore if you were one day late, you've been mistakenly expecting a refund for around 3 weeks, not more than a month!

Disney+ are pretty lenient but if you forgot to cancel then it's on you. Pay the money.

averytiredmom · 28/04/2020 03:17

It’s on you if you forgot to cancel, but she should t have said she was going to refund you

AlwaysCheddar · 28/04/2020 07:25

Tough shot. Cancel on time. It’s £6.

Umnoway · 28/04/2020 07:41

You can cancel free trials immediately so it will still work for the trial period but you won’t be charged come the end of it.

Disney+ is crap so you have my sympathies but it is only £5.99 unless you signed up to the yearly subscription that is...

whatdoyoudonow · 28/04/2020 07:54

I was one day late but I want to cancel it from now?

You can't be 'one day late' when it comes to subscriptions.
Write off the £5.99 and cancel from now on.

mollibu · 28/04/2020 07:57

Did you pay yearly or monthly, OP? Yearly, there might be a chance you'll get your money back as a gesture of goodwill. Monthly, I'd just write it off.

As other posters have said, you have no entitlement to a refund.
