Assuming it was the last one you were to eat (eg you’re on death row), what would it be? Mine would be a steak tartare starter, seafood linguini main (with fresh lobster, shrimp, clams and crab) and a cheese board to finish.

OP posts:

Slap up curry with loads of naans, poppadoms, bhajis etc, hopefully I'd have all evening to feast and go to the execution looking like a human bowling ball

KellyHall · 25/04/2020 16:19

Fried breakfast with everything for starters.
Lasagne on top of a pizza for main course.
Raspberry cheesecake with Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie ice crean for dessert.

I'd be dead before I'd have to worry about the bloating from all the fat or the squits from all the dairy 🤣

iklboo · 25/04/2020 16:23

Scallops & black pudding or chorizo

Steak Rossini, herb roasted baby new potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Sticky toffee pudding with double cream

Large glass of expensive white wine with starter
Bottle of expensive red wine with main & dessert (don't like dessert wines)
Very expensive brandy to finish

Ughmaybenot · 25/04/2020 16:26

Starter would be a crab salad, then a main of rump steak, chunky chips, onion rings and a port and Stilton sauce (from my local... god I miss that sauce!) and for dessert, probably a fresh fruit pavlova

yearinyearout · 25/04/2020 16:39

No starter. Lamb roast dinner with creamy mash, peas, cauliflower cheese, roast carrots, rich gravy and mint sauce.
Apple crumble and ice cream (must be proper oven baked crumble, all caramelised around the edge, not the pre stewed apple with a bit of crumble mixed chucked on top that you get in some pubs)

Ninkanink · 25/04/2020 16:44

Oh it very much depends, as I have lots of favourites.

But on a general day, my appetite is quite similar to yours.

Seafood to start, with linguine.

A huge T-bone for mains.

Cheese plate.

Sorbet, a trio of exotic fruits.

Coffee with baileys or amaretto, depending on mood.

Lllot5 · 25/04/2020 16:48

Pie, mash and liquor.

bobbiester · 25/04/2020 17:02

Ortolan

AdaColeman · 25/04/2020 17:11

A few oysters to start with, then a plateau du fruits de mer, served with a bottle of fizz. Some sort of cake to finish, ,maybe rhum baba or a slice of Opera.

RibenaMonsoon · 25/04/2020 17:11

An Italian restaurant style buffet salad bowl for starters. With loads of thousand island and bacon bits on top.

Full rack of bbq ribs, chunky chips and home made coleslaw.

Chocolate ice cream sundae with lots of sauce, cream, meringue and nuts.

readingismycardio · 25/04/2020 17:13

A meal from our favorite restaurant: seafood platter with parmezan foccacia

JeSuisTresEcule · 25/04/2020 17:15

Nothing that would condemn an innocent animal to die.

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 25/04/2020 17:19

EverythingBlush A total buffet of everything from lovely salads through the freshest seafood to doner. Oh. And it must have flame grilled steak!

notagaincharlie · 25/04/2020 17:19

Shepherds pie and peas, with ketchup Smile

RibenaMonsoon · 25/04/2020 17:22

Nothing that would condemn an innocent animal to die.

Good for you. Although the OPs question was, what your last meal would be. Not wouldnt be.

Perhaps you'd like to share your choice?

marriednotdead · 25/04/2020 17:24

A whole well roasted leg of lamb followed by a home made strawberry trifle. I'd be dead before the consequences hit me Grin

Reallymissthegym · 25/04/2020 17:25

Steak, triple cooked chips, mushrooms and onions in butter, onion rings, peas, peppercorn sauce

BikeRunSki · 25/04/2020 17:27

A bottle of Barolo, fresh out of the oven, still warm granary bread, butter and a big wedge of good Stilton.

SkaLaLand · 25/04/2020 17:30

Morrisons salad bar to start

Lasagne and chips for main

Baked honey cheesecake with a creamy vanilla ice cream

Cheeseboard

Mummyoftwo91 · 25/04/2020 17:33

Has to be Chinese for me, dumplings, spring rolls, pineapple and cashew nut rice, salt and pepper chips, Singapore noodles and for desert it would have to be a chocolate fondant with cream!

VettiyaIruken · 25/04/2020 17:34

I'd want baked camembert with freshly baked bread and caramelised red onion to start.

Lamb chops for main. Just lamb chops. Lots of them. Bugger veg. It's my last meal. I'm not wasting stomach space on peas and the like.

Pudding would be salted caramel ice cream with fudge bits.

Badoukas · 25/04/2020 17:45

Proper Greek food, mmm !

ChristmasFluff · 25/04/2020 17:48

In my fantasy:
My mum's stew for starters
My mum's liver and onions with gravy, mash and peas for main
My mum's liver and onions etc for dessert!

She wasn't great at parenting, but my goodness she did good home cooking.

But I am a vegetarian now, and Mum is dead, so i fact I would go for Aubergine parmigiana (preferably from Gordon's in Edinburgh) as the starter, then a main of Portobello Mushroom Burger, and then a melted brie with crudites.

OmgThereAreNoPlanesAboveMeNow · 25/04/2020 18:17

@RibenaMonsoon come on. You know that wouldn't have the right amount of self-righteousnessGrin

CloudsCanLookLikeSheep · 25/04/2020 18:20

A thai banquet from Chaophrya. Can't remember the names of all the dishes but everything they serve there is lush!
