Or get yourself a big muscular British Blue cat - they hate all other cats and will chase the others off.

Spread a rumour that someone is poisoning local cats with antifreeze and ask them to look out for saucers of milk with a coloured tinge in them.

me too ...I totally get you.We have four cats who regularly visit our garden and shit everywhere.It stinks and is just vile.I have to go out every day to clean up the garden before my children can play out. I ambeyond sensless with rage about this. It is awful and I cannot come up with any solution. My other neighbour has a solution he reckons he is so sickof it he is going to catch the cats and drive out into the country side and dump them somewhere.Bit extreme in my view but its driving us all insane.It is just disgusting. I am willing to try any solutions what ever the cost now,so watchingyour post with interest. I totally get what you say OP its just horrible.

One of ways we stopped a car shutting in our garden was to make friends with the cat. She used to think the garden was hers and then started shitting else where.

Can I ask a question of cat owners? Do cats poo on artificial grass or paved areas? I am seriously considering taking up my lawns and re doing the garden because of this problem.Would that be a solution?

Get a labrador. Mine eats all the cat shit from my garden and the neighbours if he gets the chance.

Depends on the cat, but most likely where they can dig a bit - like flower bed. Some prefer grass, paved areas - unlikely.

I had 2 cats when I was a child and they both used to dig holes and bury their poo. Why do cats not do that anymore?! I thought that was how all cats behaved until I started getting garden shitters. Saw one the other day from bedroom window and I banged on the window and shouted at it. He didn't even flinch, just stared me dead in the eye as he crapped on my lawn ☹️
