Grey and mint?

Or AIBU to think this shoe is pink and white?

I saw mint and grey in the house and pink and white in the garden so the amount of light it is viewed in is obviously key.

well i can see both colour ways.

But my brain is also telling me that the piping on the shoe in real life would be white, and that there is something off about the colour in the whole image (its got too much blue tones in it?) and that makes me also "see" that its pink and white.

Our household is equally divided. One daughter and I both see grey and mint/duck egg blue.

The other daughter and my husband both see pink.

Grey & green initially, but I can make it 'turn' pink within a few minutes of staring.

I've always been the arty, creative type. I'm also numerically-illerate. It therefore comes as no surprise to me that I see pink and white. DH is very logical, not numerically illerate and not in the least artistic. He sees grey and green.

For him The Dress was white and gold. For me it was blue and black, and no matter how hard I looked at it, I saw no trace of white or gold anywhere.

Perception is a weird thing!

pink and white. Are people seriously seeing grey and mint? Can't figure out how!

I saw this on twitter on Saturday. Early in the day, sitting in my car. It was definitely pink and white.
Later I showed it to my daughter and it was green and grey. Haven’t been able to see pink and white since. Even tried to replicate the lighting, back in the car. No, still green and grey.
Very odd

Question is : why does it work with some images and not others??

Well, when I see it on the small screen it's grey and mint...... When I click on to make the picture big, its pink and white... So what does that mean???
