Grey and mint?

Or AIBU to think this shoe is pink and white?

I see grey and light blue.

Will ask DS when he finally surfaces from his bed. We are completely different people so will be interesting to see if he agrees with me.

My brain is obviously a bit scrambled: the shoe is pink and white but the toe piece is grey, albeit a pinky grey, but it's definitely grey.

Brain side has nothing to do with this, that's a nonsense.

It's straight up human visual system issues - its interpretation stages are all about context, so AMAZINGLY it can appear different to different people.

As other PPs have said, I saw grey/mint, then came back to it and it was pink/white.

It couldn’t be more pink, to me! Fascinating!

I took a screenshot of the grey/mint pic, then another screenshot of the pic when I saw it as pink/white. Now thurs both in my Photos as pink/white. Can anyone explain - I'm not understanding this!

Its pink and white for me but when I turn on my blue light filter on my phone, it's grey and mint!!!

I've looked at it on three different devices and it has been grey and light blue on all of them. DH sees it as grey and light blue too.

But it's not much of a test, really, because there are several factors at play in what you are seeing. Especially important is the device you see this on, and how it's set up, brightness, etc. Also, we are seeing a second hand photo, so there could be distortions between seeing it here and seeing in real life.

Like some pp, it looks clearly pink and white (though very washed out) when opened up, but the thumbnail is a slightly different colour - it's sort of in an in between state where it looks more pink and white, but could also be interpreted as grey and mint.

Not sure about the brain side - I would have said I'm more left brained, but I've been feeling anything but logical/rational for several months now.

It looks beige to me.
