Or AIBU to think this shoe is pink and white?

I see both. If I switch to pink I find it takes a moment to switch back to grey.

Much like “the dress” - I can see it both ways.

The 'left-brained/right-brained' idea isn't supported by medical science. People's perception of colour (amongst other things) is, however.

I have the brightness on my phone below halfway which gives the greyish pink and blue. If I turn the brightness up to full it is pink and white.

I assume it is not left or right brain but rather contrast.

People’s visual processing works differently. A child may have sharper visual perception than an adult.
