40 phone masts now destroyed, many not even 5G

I'm finding this unbelievable!

Apparently some of the masts serviced hospitals. If these knobheads continue I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see network outtages.

And to think these people can vote. Some are even too stupid to stand up straight.

Sparklesocks · 19/04/2020 00:03

It’s amazing that these people can even manage to even put their pants on in the morning.

Toomanyradishes · 19/04/2020 00:15

Appraently people have been harrassing the engineers as well

RamblinRosie · 19/04/2020 00:22

You can’t argue with stupid.

ethelredonagoodday · 19/04/2020 00:30

My best mate works for BT and said lots of those vandalised support emergency services. Utter madness.

GrumpyHoonMain · 19/04/2020 00:31

Who are the people doing this? It’s mindboggling.

n00bMaster69 · 19/04/2020 00:35

Can we not just shoot these people? I can't imagine they are of any value to society.

Sparklesocks · 19/04/2020 00:38

The scary thing is these people can’t be reasoned with, any attempts to point out the flaws in their logic are just written off as that person being a shill for the government who isnt enlightened enough to know the truth.
Facebook and YouTube have a lot to answer for with misinformation spreading, it’s basically radicalisation at this point.

Titsywoo · 19/04/2020 00:41

My DH has changed our wifi name to "5G Covid 19 Test Mast"

Seriously though these people are stupid and dangerous. A friend of Dhs who works in telecoms was furious 2 weeks ago when a mast was takem down and with it went conectivity for a local ambulance station. Idiots.

Titsywoo · 19/04/2020 00:42

Sorry for the spelling errors there!

Cailleachian · 19/04/2020 00:46

Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but I think there is something suspicious about this.

The country is on lockdown and people arent travelling far afield, yet these attacks have happened all over the country, with no-one at all arrested. Given the controversy over the Huawie 5g rollout, I'm thinking this is some kind of dark arts afoot here rather than just random nutters. I dont think we are getting the full story.

Huawei published an open letter to the government a few days ago

""During this pandemic our engineers – designated 'essential' workers – are striving around the clock to keep Britain connected,... there are those who choose to continue to attack us without presenting any evidence. Disrupting our involvement in the 5G rollout would do Britain a disservice."

CurrentBun1981 · 19/04/2020 00:48

They need to publish a front page article titled 'emergency services comprised by thugs destroying vital communication networks' or something like that.

OP posts:
CurrentBun1981 · 19/04/2020 00:48

Compromised not comprised

Sparklesocks · 19/04/2020 00:52

@Cailleachian yeah sorry I don’t agree at all. You underestimate the lengths people will go to if they feel they’re in the right. You sound a bit tin foil hat in all honesty.

CurrentBun1981 · 19/04/2020 00:52

The country is on lockdown and people aren't travelling far afield

Really? I know a few people who've driven on long unnecessary journeys - e.g. Somerset to Manchester. With less witnesses about it'd be much easier to get away with vandalism.

OP posts:
titchy · 19/04/2020 00:53

What's worrying is that these people could be on a jury...

BigChocFrenzy · 19/04/2020 01:00

These 5G nutters are just another in the long roll of fanatical conspiracy theorists

Unfortunately, the stress of the pandemic has sent their batshittery fully over into the red area

PerkingFaintly · 19/04/2020 01:01

Well I'm pretty sure the stoking of the conspiracy theory is partly dark arts. I mean, cui bono?

If you were a hostile foreign power, with a troll factory full of keyboard warriors, wouldn't you be winding up the UK's nutters destroy the country's infrastructure? It's zero-risk and very low cost to the troll-owner. Lot more bang for your buck than traditional industrial sabotage.

CurrentBun1981 · 19/04/2020 01:06

Don't believe it for a second!

It's usually bearded hipsters that start these rumours. Before this we had anti-vac, 911, chem trails, yada yada. Whilst idiots have access to the internet we will continue to see ridiculous theories.

OP posts:
CurrentBun1981 · 19/04/2020 01:08

What would be more useful is to start a conspiracy that Covid 19 is spread by fruit flies once the fruit starts to rot, with the only solution being to pick it while ripe and isolate it in a box.

OP posts:
Propagandalf · 19/04/2020 02:10

Since we've skipped animal testing, these are the very people that should be lined up first for the vaccine trials. Disgusting behaviour.

PaperFlowers4 · 19/04/2020 04:31

Agree. I’ve been following this 5G business since mid 2019 (not a 5G nutter, but have a lamp post metres from my bedroom window which will probably end up having a 5G antenna put on it eventually, so I have a personal interest in the safety implications).

This coronavirus connection and antenna sabatoge isn’t coming from the usual crowd of people who have been concerned about 5G for months, so where is it coming from?

Towards the end of last year, reasonable concerns about the safety of 5G were gaining some traction and some overdue media attention, but now the 5G topic has become completely tainted by being associated with coronavirus conspiracy nutters and vandals.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this has all been drummed up by the telecoms industry, in order to discredit any reasonable concerns about 5G

Shitsgettingcrazy · 19/04/2020 05:31

I can tell you where it's coming from. The same people that believe in flat earth theory/ freemen of the land and other wildly inexplicable conspiracy theories.

I know because ex mil is one of these people who think 5g is killing people by giving them covid. Or rather covid doesnt exist. The deaths are cause hy 5g and covid had been made up to explain them.

Her theory comes from Facebook and other social media groups, she has part of for years.

Essentially during the chinese protests late last year mobile phone mast were burned. One side of the argument is that they were burned because they also had cameras and were identifying protestors. The other side of the argument is that, the protestors knew something about 5g that the rest of the world didnt. That was what the protests were really about. But the protestors were terrified of saying that as they would have been rounded up and killed.

So the 5g/covid people think those protest were actually about 5g. Also, apparantly, millions of phones went off in china when they started the lockdown. General covid, conspiracy theories are saying those people died. 5g/covid conspiracy theories say the chinese people know something the rest of the world dont and switched their phones off. Other theories are that as people were starting to be tracked they turned off their usual phones and bought cheap temporary phones as they dont trust they wont be tracked to this higher level, after this is over.

Unfortunately, people who believe this are quite well spread out. They are also asking people to report potential 5g mast to the groups for people to burn down. Ex mil is on several facebook pages about it.

And quite frankly, I drove to from leeds ro Newcastle a few weeks ago, as part of my job and no one stopped me. So people could easily travel.

Exmil, has at various stages suffered with mental health issues. She is also a part of a group that thinks autisim doesnt exist. That autistic children are on a higher plane and communicating with higher beings, rather than autistic. Which cause use loads of problems as ds has HFA and I got fed up of her criticising constantly and trying to tell me he wont ever have a normal life because he was destined not to.

She also believes that In my past life I was from Egypt and exh, her son was from Atlantis. That Atlantis was close to Egypt and when it fell the atlantians escaped to egypt and that's where mine and exhs destinies became entwined. She believed I was destined to be with her son because my father and uncles still follow quite a few traditions from our ancestors past (old norse) and she believes the old norse religion was correct. Thats theres different, flat realms and that flat earth theory is correct. She believes our planet is flat, surrounded by ice and beyond that are relams with higher beings. So when she found out my family still follow some old traditions, she believed I was meant to meet exh and it was all coming together and the truth would be revealed.

Same woman also comes fairies walked down the road in the village with her.

These groups have been reported several times and seem to exploit vulnerable people. And it has been reported to the police. Its not the first time they have tries to mobilise people to cause chaos. Its getting traction this time because people are terrified.

A virus cant be controlled. It's easier to believe someone is doing this to us and that they can stop it.

bettybattenburg · 19/04/2020 05:33

You can’t argue with stupid.

You can try but they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
