To ask for a psychic reading

Usually more of a lurker than a poster! I am bored and frustrated (like most people probably) and I'm also waiting for news. Not being able to work or see people is making me crazy waiting for this news as I can't distract myself!

Can someone give me a psychic reading and tell me if my news will be good or bad or just tell me anything about the future Grin

MilaRos this suggests that whatever this situation is, that it won't change. It very much appeals to you to try to accept the situation.

NB. I'm a charlatan, so take from that what you will! I just do it for fun sometimes, so please don't take it too seriously. Life is in flux, so nobody knows how things can change! For the here and now though, it would suggest that you'd be more at peace if you stopped fighting the situation and tried to accept that that is how things are for now. Nothing is forever. It also suggests that you're quite torn apart and upset about this, so for your own health, you need to accept it for now at least. Best of luck.

MilaRos · 21/04/2020 23:48

@Balmytissues Thankyou, I think I know deep down things won't change. I guess I need to pray that the truth will be revealed to them. You are right it is a very upsetting situation.

@Wanderlust21 @elfycat @Balmytissues

Would love a reading ... If any of you guys are still giving one this late into the night Grin

Wanderlust21 · 21/04/2020 23:51

@reearry
I'll leave this to the other unless theres something specific you want to know x

Reearry · 21/04/2020 23:55

@wanderlust21 I needed a reading around my marriage and career. With career... Not sure which direction makes more sense? And with marriage.... How is it looking? Stick with it ... Or better to be out?

oakleaffy · 21/04/2020 23:58

@lilyboleyn
Sadly, 'Psychics' Do prey on the vulnerable. It os only when someone is at their wit's end that they would even consider going to see a psychic.
I paid £10 and none of what I was told ever cam to pass.
Ditto 'Aura' photography..?It was about £16 ..a long time ago, and the metal hand plates that people were to place their hands on seemed strange to me...no conducting gel... I lifted up the scarf to see that there were no wires there at all....... the camera operator was angry.
It again was an utter con.

I have met some Romany gypsies in Kent where I lived alongside them one summer, they were lovely people. Very quiet.

Like you, I really wanted to believe in Psychics..but alas, it does seem to be a way of making money fast.
Derren Brown made me realise how so much of it is ''cold reading'' and Barnum statements..that apply to us all.

@Devlesko is correct...People contact psychics for three main reasons, Relationships, professional life, health.

There really isn't anything else that worries people enough to contact a Psychic.

In the Lockdown, if you can, watch Derren Brown on ?
You Tube. He debunks psychics and faith healers.

Some have been caught cheating in quite bad ways. Googling clients &c.

However.Some people definitely have some sort of powers..A Midwife I knew laid her hands over me after the death of a friend, and I felt an incredible woosh of warmth almost ''raining'' down..It was very soothing.

But she denied she had any 'power' herself... {and did not charge}

Good luck :)

pinkoneblueone · 22/04/2020 00:08

Does he always lie to me? Am
I being a fool?

itsacardiganbutthanksanyway · 22/04/2020 00:09

Thankyou so much @elfycat if someone else would like to do me one that would be great too..

I am going through a hard time with DH but both together and happy it's another situation, also work is very hard at the minute just feel like I need some guidance and something to make me focus..

Balmytissues · 22/04/2020 00:12

@oakleaffy I completely agree. What I'm reading are rune stones, not tarot cards, but people seem more content hearing that it's cards, so when I've pulled a rune stone, I'll say 'the card'.

Personally, I do it out of interest in people I guess. Interest in what the runes will say. I've done two tonight, one had zero relevance, one, the person was content. So I'm pretty sure that I'm quite shit at this.
I never do it online until a thread a few months ago and I found it utterly exhausting. I sort of have that 'belief' so if what I'm saying is shite, that's fair enough. You can't improve without feedback. But I only interpret one stone I pull, but I do focus on the question and I genuinely do try. For me it's just a past-time. I doubt anyone would be idiotic enough to pay me to pull a stone for them and interpret it (wish they would - I'd make a fortune lol).
I think it's fine on here as people can ask what they like anonymously for free. And then take it with a pinch of salt.

Balmytissues · 22/04/2020 00:15

@itsacardiganbutthanksanyway

Last one for the evening if you like. If you can close your eyes, really concentrate on the question and then post when you're ready. I read rune stones, not cards btw. If you're not happy with that, that's cool.

oakleaffy · 22/04/2020 00:17

@Devlesko
Re 'You can never have too many pegs''

That is so true!
I'd love some proper Romany pegs bound with metal at the top. Were they made of Hazel?
Haven't seen any real ones for years.

oakleaffy · 22/04/2020 00:25

@Balmytissues
Totally agree...I hadn't seen all the pages, and was horrified at the price asked by some less than ..er...honourable psychics.

Doing runes or Tarot 'for fun' is different.
One year, at a fundraising garden party, someone asked if I could ''tell fortunes'' ..I said ''no'', as not psychic, but that I could sell heather for charity. For fun, I put ''fortune cookie'' messages in the little sprigs, and people said how appropriate the messages were.
They were things that Derren Brown would call ''Barnum Statements''
I do have Crystals, and love Nature...and who hasn't, when someone is poorly, gone outside in the still night air and sent good wishes their way?...
there is definitely another dimension out there...It is just when greed gets in the way when people are desperate it gets sad.

Balmytissues · 22/04/2020 00:29

@oakleaffy Would you mind if I pulled a rune for you? If you don't mind, I need you to focus, so that I can focus on you focusing. Helpful if you have a question too.

Wanderlust21 · 22/04/2020 00:30

Upside down hangman: For work It talks about feeling tethered to the spot. Which is never usually a good thing. However it may mean that you're going to have to stick out your job for a while whether you like it or not. Or that circumstance may rob you of choice.

I also drew the reverse king of wands. (Which is odd as thas two reverse cards now and I tend to try to keep my cards upright when shuffeling)

This card may talk of someone that is.. at best self interested. At worst, a bit of a bully. Or may refer to old fashioned thinking. If this does not refer to a person, it may point towards your unhappiness in your current workplace. Perhaps with workplace attitudes.

I wanted clarification (and perhaps something happy to tell you) so I drew two more cards. I got the seven of pentacles. It talks of good fortune but that which is attained through methathodical ongoing hard work. Ot often appears 'when a job is too tedious to stand' but that you are on the right track and not to give up.

Finally, I got the the three of cups. It can mean that if there has been ill feeling it can be healed. However it also represent community and friendship and has links to formal aid such as social services and healthcare. Perhaps indicating that there will be support out there whichever road you choose, should you seek it. Or that a similar career path may be one you should consider.

I get the feeling that you have hard work ahead but ultimately there is nothing you cant face and overcome, in due course and perhaps with some help. But things might be a bit monotonous for a while longer.

@Reearry

Balmytissues · 22/04/2020 00:31

Btw Derren Brown is a different operator to people who do actually read.

Balmytissues · 22/04/2020 00:34

@Wanderlust Can you do me? Main question is a health question - the cards will know what the issue is lol - but how is it going to go for me?

oakleaffy · 22/04/2020 00:34

@Balmy, Yes please! .. Just a general one will be fine, Thanks :)

oakleaffy · 22/04/2020 00:36

@Balmytissues Yes Please...I called you Balmy so message may have gone to someone else ..oops!

Balmytissues · 22/04/2020 00:41

Ok Oak, I did a general one for you and I pulled Fehu - feel free to look it up.
Basically, it suggests that you're lying to yourself - not someone else - to yourself. You're in denial about something.
Until you start to be honest with yourself, which I accept is hard to do, you won't start to heal.

But there is something that you can't admit to yourself about yourself. When you do, you'll start on a new path.

Hope that makes sense.

Reearry · 22/04/2020 00:43

@Wanderlust21 thank you for taking the time to a reading for me. I have not been working for more than a year now after the end of contract in my last job... And then went through a depression. I do feel tethered to the spot and unhappiness with the state of my career ATM.

I perked up with mention of healthcare and social services as I have been considering switching to counseling and considering retraining to become a counselor. I appreciate you pulling out two more cards to give me positive newsFlowers

Was the hard work comment about my career or marriage?

spashy · 22/04/2020 00:47

Can i be considered also please x

Wanderlust21 · 22/04/2020 00:48

@balmytissues last one fir tonight :)
Right, first off there is the upside down queen of rods. This talks about a person who may be a little introverted and 'needs to get out more' or struggles with communication sometimes, perhaps due to shyness?

The six of wands however, is good news as it signifies - victory! :) all be it after a hard fight! It won't be easy but you'll get there.

Finally the king of cups. This is the card of keeping a cool head. It says, this us your struggle and a very personal battle. It urges you to be prepared to keep calm during a crisis, to be prepared and when need be, to reach out for help.

3littlerabbits · 22/04/2020 00:48

@Wanderlust21 or abusive partner but a big decision on polar opposite choices has to be made. I am completely stuck and don’t know where to go with it Confused

oakleaffy · 22/04/2020 00:49

@Balmytissues
Thanks..
Ooh..Lying to myself..wow..I'm not sure what that could mean?../I am usually honest about weaknesses and failings..But I'll have to think on it.
I hope I can trust those around me..That was what my immediate thought was ''Am I being too trusting?''

3littlerabbits · 22/04/2020 00:49

Don’t know what happened to that post! I’ll try again
