Usually more of a lurker than a poster! I am bored and frustrated (like most people probably) and I'm also waiting for news. Not being able to work or see people is making me crazy waiting for this news as I can't distract myself!

I can do one fo you but you'll have to be a little more specific as I'm not a psychic, I just read the cards.

So for example: 'i am single and wondering what my next partner will be like'. Or 'if have a choice between two career paths, which would be best?'

I could do a past present and future spread I suppose but I always feel it's too big of an area to cover. I mean it's hard to define someones whole past with one card. Note the cards often simply provide encouragement and self belief or tweaks or insights you may not have considered rather than saying yes or no to things.

I'm 1 year out of a 12 year emotionally abusive relationship, and before lockdown was stuck in a job that was draining. I also make things to sell in galleries but didn't have the courage to go full time.
I'm 56, so if when we get some sort of normality back, do i risk all financially and follow my dreams, and will i ever meet anyone?

Ok so its one of those areas where it could potentially have been bit too specific as I have to recommend what the cards say not just my opinion lol. But tf you are not asking about the abusey jerk lol.

So I picked two key questions put of what you said. The first: will I find love again? The second is a bit more complex so we'll come back to it

So for the love question: I drew both the king of pentacles an the hireophant.

The king of pentacles to me may indicate that your main focus needs to be on financial stability first and then love will follow. However it can also point towards a man in s professional role such as an advisory position, doctor or lawyer. In a position of responsibility. When pertaining to romantic interest it can point to someone mature, with dark features.

When you see the hirerophant you think if tradition. And I automatically though wayhay marriage xD lol but there is more to it. When the hirerophant appears it often points to questions of our judgement (which I guess makes sense after having a shitty ex). It tells us to heed the goodness of others. Eg: to know someone better and to know if we should be around them - we must ask ourselves, are they moral? Do they show goodness, kindness and truthfulness? Do they keep to their words? Ect.

I'll take the dark features, that was my norm up until ex partner .. Am certainly much more aware of seeing where people are coming from and the red flags, having completed The Freedom Programme and learning as much as possible through research/ reading..
Financial stability might take a wee while mind, given the present climate, but thats ok..

Just thinking on it jellycat. The hirerophant could also mean finding inner peace. It has religious/spiritual connotations and may mean learning to be at peace with ourself again, we can then go on to find love with someone who loves us for who we are as we love ourself. But that was just a hookey cookie hippy dippy thought I had stirring my barley haha. But I think its important to pay attention to how cards make us feel and what they mean to us.

For the career thing I think I will split it into two. Does she continue on the same creative career path? How will it work out?

So, I got the 8 of wands which usually means there will be a pick up on the pace of business, perhaps some point soon :) it also talks about travel being a potential feature. So it may be giving a timescale eg: when we can travel freely again things will pick up. But I actually think it might be literally saying travelling could be part of the work you will be doing. Perhaps, appealing to galleries abroad?

I then drew the four of pentacles which is about hanging on to your gains. Which is a good sign for business I believe.

I dont see anything about risk. Perhaps that is because it is encouraging you to pursue your dream in a steadfast way. That it can be achieved but without risk. For clarity I drew another card and it was another money based one, the nine of pentacles. Again this is about success. It mentioned the exercise of good sense and also the benefits of financial shrewdness.

Overall I get the sense that they are saying - all in good time, be smart and things will work out. Though because there is no mention of risk I feel that may not actually be a factor when the time comes.

I was drawn to pick 3 cards next to each other and funnily enough - they are three kings. It made me think of the whole bible, three wise men lol. Is there another baby on the way? Or is that the descicion you are considering perhaps. I did wonder that anyway because of your wording but honestly just picked three kings haha so it would be funny if it meant that.

Anyway hmm what other things could 3 kings point to? The men in our lives? Or perhaps the 3 most important things to us...who's feelings we must also consider? The book says 3 kings signify the influence of powerful men or men who have power over you.

Instead of looking to interpret those cards (as I feel they were symbolic of an overall message rather than individual) I pulled two more cards for clarity. Just like the vloody thing, they were death and the sun! Which to me immediately seem in many regards to be polar opposite. Like life vs death.

Could you be considering leaving a nasty or bad partner (eg: the man with power over you) in which case the cards may be saying 'hey look,it really is this simple - do you want to die or do you want to live, happy, free, in the sun, in the light?

I dont feel I'm supposed to pull another card. I dibt think it's my right. Especially if this regards a new life. But the cards recognise you have a life changing decision ahead if you. And it should be yours to make. And I hope what I have said so far helps x

Also interesting, as i've been limited as to how wild and big my work can be selling locally, as well as what i can charge.. BUT i've been thinking for a while about venturing further to bigger cities, i was always held back by ex, but not anymore!

Thank you so much Wanderlust! I've a dear friend who used to teach at the RCA and Goldsmiths who loves my work, so you have just given me a further kick up the bum to be brave and go for it (obviously after the current situation is somehow over).. but i'll be steadfast!
