AIBU For expecting a pay rise next year?

So basically the company is work for won’t be giving anyone a pay rise or bonus for this FY. I’m not sure why they decided to tell us in April but I Want to contact my union and asked for them to sort it out. AIBU for expecting my union not to fight for a pay rise?

@Mummyoflittledragon Because it was a work colleague who acted like it... not me. I was doing that reverse thing, but poorly. I was really shocked that someone would think that they would get a bonus/pay rise or that the union should fight for it/mention it during this this.

I'm in the minority. I love a reverse. Had the op been from their point of view there would have been the usual -of course you're nbu. Why ask?- Your colleague will probably still figure out it's about them and who you are though if they're on here.

The extra odd thing is that she’s not even ON a bonus scheme that would be affected by furlough.
