To think this doctor really really hates mumsnet

Glad he’s got his priorities right in the middle of a pandemic. He’s really, really want to see mumsnet closed down and has a fair following - even been on telly

I thought it was all hands to the pump at present in the NHS. I find it extremely odd that Harrop has the time and energy to continue his vendetta at a time when one might have expected he'd have had plenty else to think about and occupy his time.

I did mean followers, honestly! I'm sure he has more than one! 😂

Report
Ikeasucks · 16/04/2020 16:47

This is a cooperative for selling milk and dairy products (just trying to make a living) that Harrop and his followers are targeting. These folk get people fired, report people to the police etc. They are not harmless. They hate non compliant women who put biological sex above identity when it matters - like in sports, wards, prisons, refuges

I wonder who Arlo Dairies would rather piss off - 12 million women deprived of a women-centred website where they can come to chat about anything and everything, which many of us have found a godsend and a saver of sanity at times, or a tiny handful of aggressive activists completely out of touch with the national mood?

Good point Gasp0. I might just pop over to Twitter to point this out to @ArlaDairyUK

A little while spent googling this knobber will reveal the extent to which he really hates women.

And for a doctor he is a massive fucking idiot in matters of actual biology.

And in case anyone's confused, woman = adult human female.

thegcatsmother · 16/04/2020 16:52

If Arla pull funding advertising they lose my spend. Companies are daft - who do they think does the bloody shopping and chooses what brands they buy? Adult human females (women) for the most part!

Furthermore, Harrop hasn't worked out that if Mn closes down, then we will just find other forums to go on, (iirc, there's another one going already) and our views will just harden. Does he think he is the thought police?

He's an absolute nobber who hates women.

The trans angle is pure convenience. The discussions do get contentious because it's a contentious subject that quite frequently pushes the bounds of credibility and sanity.

If it wasn't that he focused on it would be something else to satisfy his enjoyment of harassing mumsnet and women in general.

Report
Michelleoftheresistance · 16/04/2020 16:52

He has no interest in the best interests of all people who are trans, his interest is in a very specific political lobby's representatives and ideology where it suits his particular agenda as a misogynist. The only trans people he stands up for are the ones usefully on board with his politics.

Lundy Bancroft would find this chap interesting. Nuff said.

Hasn't an NHS doctor got more pressing matters to attend to during this global pandemic?

You'd have thought so, wouldn't you.

I have never bought any Arla products, but if they decide to sack these idiots off I will be looking out for them in the future.

I went to uni with Adrian. He's become a bit of an internet troll, unfortunately.

We need to push back.

So are Arla dairies already advertising here? I wonder whether we should encourage both Arla and @MNHQ in this. Where are Arla products sold? I’ll buy some (by which I mean lots) if they continue advertising here.

I’m happy to email them but maybe MNHQ need to be in in this conversation?

Can't imagine many wanting him for a doctor, if they know what he's like. I wouldn't want to go to him with my health concerns.

He is a working GP in Liverpool. He is also a delusional fool with too much airtime.

Wow - sorry, but sexist much?!
In this day and age it's not just mums who do the shopping!
DH does most of the shopping here.
I'm fully expecting to get jumped on for taking issue with this, but on every thread that wasn't trans related sexism like that is usually called out, can't believe I'm expecting a flaming for taking issue with sexism but meh

Poor women of Liverpool.

I’ve asked in Site Stuff whether Arla currently advertise with MN. Happy to support that, if so.

Strange that no officious twat of a Plod has suggested he check his thinking, isn't it?

Obnoxious, twisted little git.

You would think a dairy company would know the difference between male and female.

Women speaking up for women is not hate.

He despises women and actively campaigns to remove their rights and protections as they exist in law. He has behaved quite viciously in the past towards individual women, doxed them etc.
