One of our neighbours has come up with a great idea... all of us singing something together after Clapping for Carers.

Hugely looking forward to it and love to know what you would most enjoy singing with your neighbours? Guessing something that is uplifting, appeals to all generations and where most people know most of the words....the Beatles keep springing to mind!

What is wrong with some people. I got the clapping the first week but that’s it, don’t get why some are still doing this and adding effing singing on the end like this is some kind of party. To be fair, many aren't really suffering in the true sense of the word are they? Mind you, if a bunch of hand clapping virtue signallers decide to start singing, that would make many suffer.

Oh dear lord this sounds horrendous.
On Facebook a friend posted a video of her street last week doing the Birdie Song and the Agadoo before they clapped for carers.
Another friend sent me a video of her neighbours 17 year old daughter who feels it is her public duty to keep spirits up. Every Friday and Saturday between 7-9 she stands in the garden with a microphone and speakers and warbles along badly to the likes of wind beneath my wings. I had to stop my friend from heckling.

I would not wish to sing anything with neighbours.

This sounds absolutely awful. There is a post on our local neighbourhood FB group asking people to clap tomorrow night, then sing Happy Birthday to Captain Tom and and then play “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. It’s going to be excruciating if it happens.
