I feel quite uncultured when it comes to films as I usually stick to the same cheesy rom coms Blush. With the lockdown I have a lot of spare time so I thought it would be good to finally branch out a bit and watch some of those must see films that are often talked about and so I would love recommendations for films you think are must see or films that have resonated and stuck with you over time.

Thank you!

I'm super into Spanish language cinema, I would definitely recommend Pans Labyrinth too - I believe it's currently on netflix
The motorcycle diaries is lovely, looks at the life of Che Guevara
Pedro Almovodar is iconic. Everyone raves about all about my mother and talk to her but my favourite is bad education - though it is graphic (not violence but sex/drugs)

Theonewiththecandles · 14/04/2020 21:23

Oh and the skin I live in - Antonio Banderas is much better in Spanish than English films, I can actually take him seriously in this

10 Things I Hate About You
Clueless
