Work colleagues (we are all WFH) saying in a jolly, isn't this fun sort of tone "see you on the other side!" Really grates me in a depressing and haunting sort of way.

ComeOnGordon · 13/04/2020 14:30

He’s a fighter so he’ll get thro this (said about BoJo) Angry. I want this phrase banned about any illness not just covid 19. So the people who die from it? Did they just lie down and let it kill them.

Also hate the word vulnerable being used by people who have a medical condition but normally live perfectly healthy lives. There are many people who are actually vulnerable not Betty who claims to be classed as vulnerable but even when told to stay at home went to Ikea

kittensarecute · 13/04/2020 14:33

Social distancing.

profpoopsnagle · 13/04/2020 14:34

Let's do a jigsaw

Let's do a quiz on our zoom meeting

Your hour of exercise

Stay the fuck at home (I don't know why but the fuck part in this really gets to me and I love a good swear normally)

Decisions based on the science

Disgustingly · 13/04/2020 14:45

'they are the rules'

'people like you are the problem'

'is that essential?'

Oh anything about the bloody 'curve', flattening it, smoothing it, slowing it, whatever. Although I don't mind 'squashing the sombrero', that's now my preferred phrase Grin

Penelopelouise91 · 13/04/2020 14:54

“I’m bored”

Outtedagain · 13/04/2020 14:56

Becles · 13/04/2020 16:25

FaFoutis · 13/04/2020 16:26

There's usually a hand movement to go with 'flattening the curve'.

pussycatinboots · 13/04/2020 16:26

Fandoozle1 · 13/04/2020 16:28

Gentle reminder.

Pinkginhelps · 13/04/2020 16:54
