I mean for this to be a positive thread. Need a pick me up after catching a glimpse of myself in my underwear in the mirror and wanting to cry!

I've been trying to find a sports bra that fits, but keep feeling incredibly down about my horrendously lopsided boobs (one DD, one G cup) - breastfeeding has made them saggy and stretch marky. I avoid looking at them at all costs.

I do however really like my eyes. I'm 3/4 black with dark skin and my eyes are very light green. Makes working with different makeup looks fun and I get the odd compliment here and there!

Same questions to mn....

OP posts:
HelloJohnGotANewMotor · 12/04/2020 14:13

Like my height. 5ft 9. To me it's perfect.

Audidriver · 12/04/2020 14:14

Dislike my weight (have been up and down for years)

Like my skin - I never seem to get spots Grin

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 12/04/2020 14:15

I dislike my Psoriasis, it’s all over my belly and my back.

I like my eyes.

ZooeyS · 12/04/2020 14:16

I like my face and my height. I dislike my belly (albeit not enough to give up wine Grin), in my head I'm the size 8 I was 20 years ago

Shockers · 12/04/2020 14:16

Having just had joint replacement surgery, I now bloody love my whole body because it works without pain!

ouch321 · 12/04/2020 14:17

Everything and nothing respectively...

Truthful if not positive...

HerRoyalCarbyLess · 12/04/2020 14:17

I dislike my size. I'm massively obese.

I love my eyes. Dark brown, and "boring" but full of mischief Wink

ITasteSpring · 12/04/2020 14:17

There are still parts of my body where the skin has not creased or sagged!

If I stand still in front of a mirror naked I look pretty good. The important thing is to stand still!

Seriously, this is timely for me - I genuinely did decided today to concentrate on appreciating my body rather than deriding it. I have struggled, since about a year ago, noticing real ageing in my body - ageing I genuinely didn't think happened till one's 60's. SO it's all about being positive for me now - and getting fitter as that always makes one positive about ones' body.

AnneLovesGilbert · 12/04/2020 14:18

I dislike the shape of my hips, they’re too square.

I love my hair, it’s long, thick, wavy and takes no effort to look nice. I like my hands which are small and neat but very strong.

notawittyname1954 · 12/04/2020 14:20

it still works

NC4Now · 12/04/2020 14:22

Dislike everything below the neck. I’ve got a nice face and hair though

Purplecatshopaholic · 12/04/2020 14:25

I like most of myself. I am not perfect but I am broadly happy with myself. I like my height to weight ratio - 5 ft 6 and a small size 8 - and my eyes. I don’t focus on negatives at all - far better to be happy

Bagadverts · 12/04/2020 14:29

Dislike all the bits that don’t work properly- have cerebral palsy and can’t see well.

Like - for looks shoulder blades, for sheer perseverance my heart and brain.

squeakydog · 12/04/2020 14:41

I like my arms and stomach- toned and no stretch marks (thanks genetics) despite minimal exercise and two kids.
I struggle with my thighs- disproportionately big for my petite frame and top half. I'm learning to love them more but also would like to get them leaner so I feel more comfortable in jeans.

JemIsMyNameNooneElseIsTheSame · 12/04/2020 14:44

I like my boobs. Bit saggy, but look decent when hoiked up in a bra. Dislike my cankles. Whatever weight I am, the bottom half of my legs are rather over sturdy.

Thehop · 12/04/2020 14:45

Dislike everything.

My hands and feet are pretty.

goldenorbspider · 12/04/2020 14:45

I'm fairly chunky size 16 love my body and it's shape but would like a flatter tummy

Duvetday8 · 12/04/2020 14:46

Love my stomach, worked hard and it's really toned. for the first time in my life I have abs. I dislike my teeth

Mrsfrumble · 12/04/2020 14:46

I like my height (5.10) and long legs. I like that my hair is thick and shiny and grows fast (but is going a bit grey now). I don’t like my crowded teeth, sticky-out ears and soft jawline.

SlipSlidin · 12/04/2020 14:47

Legs and hair are good, stomach and bum are bad.

Meruem · 12/04/2020 14:48

I like the fact that at 50 I have very few wrinkles. I don’t do anything special, nor have I had Botox or anything like that. I also smoke! So I’m just very lucky in that regard. There’s a million and one things about my body that I hate so I like that you’ve said we should be positive!

toomuchconfusion · 12/04/2020 14:50

I love that it contains my soul and carries me through life.

I won't say dislike but I really would like to develop more acceptance and self compassion so my brain isn't quite so noisy and negative.

ButterbuttSquash · 12/04/2020 14:51

Since having a baby I really wish I’d appreciated my body. While it wasn’t perfect I was a nice size 10/12 with a really slim waist and curvy everything else.

Now I’m not sure what I like, but I wasn’t sure then either.

Always suffered terribly with hair growth on my body so my legs and bikini line are pretty scarred and hard to keep on top of. So that’s what I hate the most! Give anything to laser it all off.

I guess I’ve come to love my dimples, if that counts?

SimonJT · 12/04/2020 15:05

I quite like my height, I’m tall for my ethnicity, this has helped me with sport so it isn’t a purely vanity based thing.

Not a huge fan of my skin, I would prefer to be paler, especially at this time of year as I tan very easily. I used to use lighteners which have left some slight discolouration on my forehead.

ButterbuttSquash · 12/04/2020 15:06

You sound beautiful, OP. I would love to have your skin! We are our own worst critics. I suffer with HUGE boobs that are worse for wear... I think they’re grotesque... my husband still wants to see them. I still hate them though.
