I mean for this to be a positive thread. Need a pick me up after catching a glimpse of myself in my underwear in the mirror and wanting to cry!

I've been trying to find a sports bra that fits, but keep feeling incredibly down about my horrendously lopsided boobs (one DD, one G cup) - breastfeeding has made them saggy and stretch marky. I avoid looking at them at all costs.

I do however really like my eyes. I'm 3/4 black with dark skin and my eyes are very light green. Makes working with different makeup looks fun and I get the odd compliment here and there!

Same questions to mn....

I am 100% gorgeous from head to toe in my dreams

Battysace123 · 12/04/2020 16:10

Dislike- my tummy, it's not big but I have the C-section pouch, dislike my hair at the moment. It's just below my shoulders and doesn't suit me whatsoever. Definitely growing my hair long again.

LIKE- my complexion, it's bright, blemish free. My hair colour, it's black and makes me feel sexy, especially when long and with fluffy curls. My lips as they are big but not fake big and I love applying red lippy on them

SmellbowSmellbow123 · 12/04/2020 16:11

My chin is nasty. Apparently it’s called a ‘cleft chin’ but none of the pictures on google are as bad as mine. One side of my face seems to droop nowadays too (why would it do that??). Quite like my hair but it is going white.

ballroompink · 12/04/2020 16:13

Like my small waist, my hair (naturally wavy), the fact my stomach still looks good after two kids. Less keen on being pear shaped. It accounts for the waist and stomach but I wish my legs were longer and I don't like it that any weight I gain just goes on my bum and thighs! I looked more in proportion when I was breastfeeding but now I have tiny empty boobs!

TomHardysCBBC · 12/04/2020 16:26

I've got a good figure, boobs still perky but bum starting to drop.

Hate my complexion. Its all due to too much booze and my face is red and dull.

dudsville · 12/04/2020 16:28

I like that my body is able to do what i want with it. I dislike that my knees aren't pretty!

myredcardiganbob · 12/04/2020 16:28

I really like my hair, it’s waist length, a warm brown colour, ridiculously thick and I have a really blunt, thick fringe that sits right on my eyebrows.

Dislike is easy, despite the fact I am slim and a runner, I have (I think) lipodema to the point where I can wobble the fat around my shins and I have cankles. In thick black tights my legs look shapely; without tights I am excruciatingly embarrassed by them.

EmpressSuiko · 12/04/2020 16:44

@JustinMyJustin I’ve tried therapy but it didn’t help, I just hate it so much and wish it looked normal but I inherited my fathers nose, doesn’t help it’s also slightly upturned and it’s been broken so it’s also deviated.

My whole family are against me having rhinoplasty but I’ve wanted it for years and I’m not getting any younger.

Womenwotlunch · 12/04/2020 16:53

I like my eyes, they are almond shaped. I have really lovely plump lips. I also have a flat stomach.
I also have beautiful teeth

I dislike my arms. They are slim, but really flabby . I exercise a lot ( boxing weights, spin), but my arms are still flabby.

Want2beme · 12/04/2020 17:10

I like the colour of my green eyes and my height of 5ft6, but that's it. I dont like anything else. Terrible boobs - big and shapeless, fat & wobbly turkey legs, fat belly, big arse, old looking face, and so on. To be able to lose weight I have to eat next to nothing and I absolutely hate that fact. I don't drink or smoke. I exercise most days, but it doesn't make any difference to my weight or body shapeHmm

PhoneLock · 12/04/2020 17:16

I'm very happy with my body.

I've noticed a few wrinkles starting to show on my face though. Inevitable, but I'd rather they weren't there.

Spied · 12/04/2020 17:20

Like- legs, quite toned compared to the rest of me.
Dislike Stomach and upper arms ( I'm an apple)

EggBaconBeans · 12/04/2020 17:38

Told I have a lovely face and my features are symmetrical, with straight teeth.
Hate my arse and my legs.
Can't have it all.

ITasteSpring · 12/04/2020 17:48

Having read all of this thread it has made me like my face and body all the more - just cos I can see all the wasted energy in hating it.

missmouse101 · 12/04/2020 17:54

I loathe absolutely everything, with the possible sole exception being reasonable dainty feet.

BadDaughter01 · 12/04/2020 17:58

Huge bum, huge tum, fat ankles. I have a bump in my nose from a childhood accident.
I have thick shiny hair which I like, and my neck and eyes are quite nice.

Astoatora54 · 12/04/2020 17:59

I genuinely believe my life would have turned out different if I had better hair.-

I feel exactly the same!

Ginginwine · 12/04/2020 18:00

I like my arms, they’re toned and strong.
I have hated my legs with a passion for my entire life. They are strong with a big layer of wobbly fat on top. I’ve hated them at a size eight and a size eighteen. Not just my thighs. Calves are almost as big as thighs and have cellulite.
Think I need to get over it, I’m pushing 40 now!

Notredamn · 12/04/2020 18:04

I really like everything about myself apart from my horrible feet. I'd love to wear a barely there sandal, I'm a bit envious of those who do and don't give it a second thought! Veiny with long big toes and the other toes are short. Grim!

Sophj19 · 12/04/2020 18:06

It really annoys me how there is so much pressure on women to “love” their body’s nowadays - as someone who has struggled to even like my body.

Body neutral is the way forward it encourage you to accept the body you are in and focus on its achievements, rather than its appearance. For example, think about how powerful your arms and legs are, rather than their size. Most importantly, the movement doesn't want you to berate yourself on the days where you don't feel like loving any part of yourself and I think that’s really important for our mental health. I don’t love or hate my body anymore. It’s just my body and that’s it.

ShadowLightning · 12/04/2020 18:10

I’m sometimes annoyed that my belly isn’t flatter and my boobs are a bit crap after breastfeeding, but actually generally I really like my body. I have a great bum, good skin (despite the stretch marks) and a lovely smile.

I’m pretty body confident these days and see the strengths more than the flaws.

Hoggleludo · 12/04/2020 18:11

I hate my teeth. I want veneers. I also had an operation on my nose which meant they had to break it badly. Which left it with a big lump

I like my figure. I'm 40 and apparently people love it. I work really hard for it though.

Sk191 · 12/04/2020 18:13

I dislike my tummy...its the one area of my body I struggle to tone up in even when slim. I like my eyes and my smile.

Lifeisgenerallyfun · 12/04/2020 18:13

Love all my body because it’s an amazing thing, it enables me to experience the amazing thing we call life - with all its ups and downs.

I’m sure your average model agency wouldn’t add me to their books, but then I wouldn’t want to spend my life prancing round in largely ridiculous clothes having my picture taken, so it suits me fine.

What I like most are my eyes, my boobs and waist. My legs are a bit short, but I take after the coal mining side on the family and I guess in days of yore my lack of height might have been useful down pit😂.

Buddyelf · 12/04/2020 18:14

I like my bodies shape - I need to lose some more weight (down from an almost 18 to a 12) but I have an hourglass figure that I like. I like my boobs - when they’re in a bra. I have pretty big boobs and I like them.
Dislike - my face. I wouldn’t say I was ‘ugly’ but I’m not attractive either, I would say my face is ‘meh’, I’d love a smaller nose and smaller ears.
I wear glasses and I wish I didn’t, I have nice eyes and I feel like they’re hidden.
