If you have cabbage with your roast dinners, how do you cook it?

I never cook cabbage with roast dinners but suddenly had a craving for it.

But I only remember my Nan's cabbage which was probably boiled and in gravy that had been made with lard...and dripping or whatever 1940s people made their spectacular gravy out of!

An old shoe would have tasted nice with my Nan's gravy on it.

How do you cook your cabbage please?

I like cabbage fried and with bits of bacon in it.

Steamed. But fried with bacon sounds lovely
