while I look like Dennis Healey. Did they all do a threading course before the lockdown? This is not just female presenters, it seems to be everyone interviewed. (Note - Lighthearted. Thought people might appreciate a change from the constant moaning about rule breaking Mumsnet seems to be full of)

I wax my own, maybe they have started to as well.

Oysterbabe · 11/04/2020 09:35

Plucking your eyebrows isn't hard. I've never had mine done and they look shaped and tidy.

Thehop · 11/04/2020 09:35

I’ve always dyed my own and find it easy to tweeze around the shape to keep tidy until I get them done properly again. I go about 3 times a year and follow her shape.

Ohfrigginghellers · 11/04/2020 09:37

@Thehop what do you use to dye your own?

BeyondMyWits · 11/04/2020 09:38

I pluck my own and trim any wayward ones. It is not the hardest of things to do. I have never seen the need to outsource...

CheshireDing · 11/04/2020 09:38

Would they not just be plucking their own ?

I started to grow mine out due to lockdown to reshape them but then it felt a step to far (as hair is very grey due to hairdressers being closed but I can't do anything about that for now) so have gone back to plucking them.

Reginabambina · 11/04/2020 09:39

I assume a combination of plucking and gel surely?

BruceAndNosh · 11/04/2020 09:40

If you have them professionally shaped, you can usually follow that for several months.

ShirleyPhallus · 11/04/2020 09:41

I was a victim of the over plucking fiasco of 2002 so sadly my brows never need anything more than a a very tiny tweezering and then need to be dyed which I do at home anyway

Thehop · 11/04/2020 09:46

@Ohfrigginghellers I use the eyelure dyebrow kit on amazon. Super easy, takes 5 minutes and the kit lasts about a year for £7.50

I find a cotton bud easier to apply than their tool, and a spare clean one to tidy any edges.

Skittlesss · 11/04/2020 09:50

They might have the tattooed ones

SerenDippitty · 11/04/2020 10:00

I confess to being a bit puzzled by all this eyebrow grooming. Isn’t it enough that they are tidy? My eyebrows are naturally thick but I have them shaped/tidied every so often. A few months ago I was going to a black tie do and treated myself to an evening makeup as I don’t wear it often. I was amazed by the amount of time she spent on my brows - not plucking them, just putting stuff on. They are barely visible behind my specs anyway.

AlphaJura · 11/04/2020 10:02

Mine don't grow. I over plucked them years ago and I'm fair anyway. I fill them in every day with pencil or powder. Not difficult at all.

TriangleBingoBongo · 11/04/2020 10:04

Mine are micropigmented so only need plucking around the edges.

JVC1984 · 11/04/2020 10:06

I had mine tattooed a couple of years ago so I literally just have to follow a line when plucking.

Waiting1987 · 11/04/2020 10:08

Hardly difficult to pluck them at home.

GrumpyHoonMain · 11/04/2020 10:08

Many still have access to make up artists.

Sandybval · 11/04/2020 10:09

Probably more time to pluck them!

EmeraldShamrock · 11/04/2020 10:10

They have micro blading, they'd survive a year easily. I spoke to Dsis yesterday on Skype her eyebrows were perfect.
I always felt they were expensive now they're on my to do list.

Gingernaut · 11/04/2020 10:10

Dye, careful plucking and even more careful trimming.

Less is more. Don't be overenthusiastic about it. Simply pulling or trimming single hairs can make enough of a difference.

I use this too to make my blond eyebrows visible. It's good.

BananaPlant · 11/04/2020 10:24

Mine are still shaped from threading so I’m just following that.

Marlena1 · 11/04/2020 10:27

@JVC1984 dying to get this done, would you recommend?

seaofbleu · 11/04/2020 10:28

Surely the make up artist on the TV show does it for them?

ShouldWeChangeTheBulb · 11/04/2020 10:30

They still have glam squads. Apparently some of the men are doing there own but mainly the woman on tv are still using professionals. Because woman being attractive is essential you know.
