@cantkeepawayforever well I think the hankies may become very useful if you run out of loo roll Grin

AntiHop · 30/03/2020 22:56

I was given a Make Your Own soap kit that I had planned to take to the charity shop. So glad I didn't get round to it!

Fuss · 30/03/2020 23:14

Grateful for the fact that I've always been too lazy to walk upstairs and check the airing cupboard for loo roll so just buy a 9 pack anyway.

When stockpiling started I opened the door in a panic to find about 30 of the buggers already there. Can't see dh complaining about my loo roll mountain going forward 😀

HELLO ? ?!!! Did any notice that stickerqueen told us that she penis pasta ??Grin

Ah, the Christmas toiletries! Their day has finally come...

I recently found a full 300ml bottle of hospital strength hand gel under the sink. I vaguely remember saving it from the bin in the past when DH was having a clear out. I nearly cried when I found it!

I did, but I didn’t want to be a dick about it. WinkGrin

Not exactly christmas stuff but bought in the christmas shop - 8 boxes of hair dye - I 'saved' my shop with it, then forgot to delete them. I've bought more since to use as I'd forgotten they were there. Was thinking of trying to brazen it out and gracefully grey, but I'm dying it tomorrow. Going to weigh it and only use half a pack next time though.

Dd2 bought me 3 Baylis and Harding sets for Mother’s Day this year. Normally I’d be horrified but I was thrilled this year 😁.

Also glad that I’m a slattern and haven’t had a sort out of the freezer for ages, ended up concocting loads of slightly strange meals from things that have been lurking in there for years.

I also had a scout round all the drawers., cupboards and handbags and found 9 boxes of paracetamol, 3 boxes of Anadin, several part used boxes of ibuprofen and a load of pills and potions which I brought back from New York last year including melatonin and their fantastic Lemsip-like cold and flu capsules (Niquitin??).

cantkeepawayforever · 31/03/2020 09:22

The problem with the hankies isn't their cotton-ness (I have, as a chronic hayfever sufferer, a large and very useful stash of the large cotton variety). It's the embroidery and lace, which make them both incredibly scratchy and almost entirely moisture-resistant....

WelcomeToShootingStars · 31/03/2020 09:24

Grapefruit smells lovely!!

I'm glad i hadn't got around to throwing out the handcreams I have from random gift sets!

WelcomeToShootingStars · 31/03/2020 09:25

I was also meant to be going on holiday tomorrow so I'd bought a load of holiday toiletries.

A stash of dark chocolate that expired in 2018. Old school books from my older DCs. Out of date seeds.

Orchidflower1 · 01/04/2020 13:46

Christmas chocolate coins found that had fallen out of the “sweetie box” onto the shelf behind the box.
I know this means I haven’t cleaned the shelf since at least Christmas but as we were peeling the foil off the coins last night I did not care a jot!
