Mine is sage and onion stuffing - oh my lord! Anyone else care for a bit of lighthearted divulging? Better out than in, after all!

Garlic. But it doesn’t stop me because I bloody love it & make my own home made garlic mayo then fart my way through the whole next day 🤷🏻‍♀️😄

vegvegveg · 30/03/2020 20:31

Another one for roasted garlic 🙋🏻‍♀️

Bloody love the stuff though.

Undercooked onions, kidney beans, chickpeas and apples all make me blow up like a balloon.

Rhubarb crumble. The loudest, longest and smelliest Smile

Grumpbum might you be lactose intolerant? It's a spectrum and some lactose intolerant individuals can handle milk in small amounts such as you might have in tea, and hard cheese like Cheddar where the lactose has fermented away.

I've just remembered I need to add bottle or cask conditioned ale to my 'painful wind' list. It must be the yeasts in it - lagers are usually fine in sensible amounts.

colinthecaterpillars rhubarb crumble makes you rumble. Custard powder makes it louder. Grin Wink

Grains, soy, pumpkin seeds

Tormundsbeard · 30/03/2020 21:53

Garlic, but not if I cut out the green inner shoot before cooking.

I once ate a plate of home made curry before babysitting.

Unfortunately said curry produced farts of such vile copiusness (an enormous fart every 2 minutes or so) that I had to go on their balcony to fart to avoid stinking the entire place out.

Even more unfortunately their neighbours were enjoying a pleasant evening drinking on the balcony next door.

Result: me farting constantly, them in hysterics.

I never did tell my friend, but I can only imagine the conversation that took place..

Mine is similar to yours, @LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett

Years ago, I was on the Slimfast diet. I would have one of the shakes for lunch and my afternoon snack was dried apricots, which I love, so I ate loads.
By the end of the afternoon, the fermentation had started... I was in agony and couldn't wait to get out of the office. Believe me, I needed no engine in my car to get me the 25 miles home!
Arrive home, still not able to stand straight with the pain.....had to rush upstairs and had my own 'Levitate and Pebbledash the Bathroom party'! The noise was incredible!!

I never, ever had that combination again!

Hilarious thread and such variety!

Lentils for me... Made a delicious ragu a few weeks ago but the unpleasant aftereffects lasted days.. I know you can 'train' your gut to get used to lentils but I don't feel inclined to try it.

And also ale...
