We've already got Netflix and amazon. I don't ever pay for extras on amazon. I'm a single parent whose self isolating with 3 young primary kids. Is this Disney Channel worth the bother? x

I'm on o2 so was offered a good deal. I really like it and whilst myself and my disabled mum are in lockdown it helps to have something settling and calming to watch. Totally worth it

WellGoshDarnIt · 28/03/2020 20:05

If you're due an upgrade on o2 you can get it free for 6 months 👍👍👍👍👍

New Samsung tv owner here - it wasn't obvious on the home screen. It was shown as High School Musical on the same row as all the other apps. Clicked on High School Music - it asked if we wanted to stream it - we didn't so pressed the curved back arrow on the remote - this took us to the Disney+ home page.
HTH someone!

Evilspiritgin · 28/03/2020 20:37

Due to other commitments frozen 2 isn’t available until July 17

Sorry

We love it. Paid £50 for 12 months which is a bargain. It also has all the simpsons on so we've been working our way through those

Bringringbring12 · 29/03/2020 07:18

I have sky movies, Netflix and amazon prime (I don’t pay for the last two)... still worth getting Disney I’d have those three already? Thanks

WTFdidwedo · 29/03/2020 08:51

Yes definitely worth it, it's basically got every single Disney, Star Wars and Marvel movie (except Song of the South which is still banned) and TV series, including stuff like Swiss Family Robinson, Huck Finn, Adventures in Babysitting, Three Men and a Baby etc. Also has some Fox stuff like Ice Age and the Simpsons.

breakingbetter · 29/03/2020 09:02

We prepaid for it so paid the slightly lower annual fee. We've been waiting for it since it's release in USA and it doesn't disappoint. It's brilliant.

We also have Netflix & Amazon. All used for different things.

Disney+ is much more than just Disney films too, there's great documentaries and all the National Geographic stuff too.

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 29/03/2020 09:36

I have all of those as well bring and I'd still say it's worth it.

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 29/03/2020 09:50

I know SC it's not necessary is it 😔

Has anybody else got snow this morning?

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 29/03/2020 09:51

Sorry wrong thread

Bringringbring12 · 29/03/2020 10:29

Oh this is brill, thanks.
I’ll splurge then. Seemed excessive with Netflix and amazon prime (I actually find them disappointing for the children) but given I’ve cancelled all their clubs etc, the money is there

Thank you

WTFdidwedo · 29/03/2020 10:34

Disney is definitely better for children than Netflix and Prime, and if you get the 7 day free trial you can always cancel if you don't think you'll get use.

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 29/03/2020 10:35

two words: The Simpsons Grin

Groovee · 29/03/2020 10:46

We're enjoying the behind the scenes documentaries. Dd went 1/3rds with her friends.

mum2jakie · 04/04/2020 17:16

Just signed up. Great variety and good value while we're all housebound!

NotNegan · 04/04/2020 17:27

Currently watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

It's definitely worth it.
