We've already got Netflix and amazon. I don't ever pay for extras on amazon. I'm a single parent whose self isolating with 3 young primary kids. Is this Disney Channel worth the bother? x

Lockdown just got bearable.
Until they make you watch Hannah Montana.

CaveMum · 28/03/2020 16:06

We’re Chromecasting to our living room tv and watching on tablets otherwise.

CaveMum · 28/03/2020 16:08

Olawisk how have you watched Frozen II?! Mine says it’s not available till July. Are you outside the UK?

MamaGothel · 28/03/2020 16:11

I'm not that thrilled with it, but maybe it's because we watch a lot of Disney/Pixar anyway so theres no novelty for me. I think we will keep it at least until the schools go back.

hippoherostandinghere · 28/03/2020 16:19

We love it, it's came at just the right time! DS is rediscovering his love of Phineas and Ferb. Plus it has all The Simpsons episodes. Something for everyone.

CorianderLord · 28/03/2020 17:19

@icecream get Netflix. Blows Amazon Prime out of the water.

WTFdidwedo · 28/03/2020 17:25

Everyone needs to watch the World According to Jeff Goldblum, it is the best! We're big park nerds so the Imagineering Story and Fairy Tale Weddings are our favourites too. If you have a child's profile activated, I found that there's a fair bit not available. It's still Disney so even with the adults profiles, there's not much overtly inappropriate stuff. I'm in love with it all!

HermioneWeasley · 28/03/2020 17:33

We have an old TV currently watching via laptop and HDMI cable. Should have a firestick arriving tomorrow.

I think it’s worth it for

Jellycatspyjamas · 28/03/2020 17:41

We’ve watched at least one movie every day and DD is binge watching Hannah Montana - more than repaid the subscription fee in Marvel movies alone.

Bringringbring12 · 28/03/2020 17:47

Sorry if missed but how do I access this offer?!

Soubriquet · 28/03/2020 18:06

There’s a link at the top at the page

It automatically gives you a free 7 days. Just cancel it after 7 days if you don’t want to continue

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 28/03/2020 18:31

Safe to say disney must have a psychic working for them. I think it was always going to be popular but releasing the week we went on lockdown must have increased the numbers massively. And it was a planned release, not brought forward or anything.

creaturcomforts · 28/03/2020 18:34

I've just downloaded disneyplus and my daughter loves it. We had Disney app before but Disney plus has more movies and some more recent Disney and Pixar films. It seems great value to be honest, hoping frozen 2 comes on here

creaturcomforts · 28/03/2020 18:36

For anyone that can't get it on their television you can also download it from Xbox

LittleTopic · 28/03/2020 18:37

I absolutely love it. Watching stuff every day “with DD” Grin

Tartyflette · 28/03/2020 18:40

Check to make sure your smart TV is supported -- ours, (only two years old), is not, it's a Panasonic. And neither is our slightly older Samsung Smart TV.
I had to cancel the subscription i had just taken out; a bit of a rigmarole, and only doable because i hadn't actually watched anything .

Tartyflette · 28/03/2020 18:42

No Xbox or playstation in the house any more (DS moved out couple of years ago)

Mandalorian · 28/03/2020 18:54

and not anything you couldn't get anywhere else!

Go on, I'll bite.
Please tell me where else I could legally watch The Mandalorian.

Bluewavescrashing · 28/03/2020 18:57

Yes yes yes yes yes

I would rather cancel skyq and keep free view, Netflix and Disney Plus.

2 things I have enjoyed on sky- the Handmaid's Tale and Chernobyl. Not worth it.

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 28/03/2020 19:05

1 thing actually... handmaids tale was on channel 4.

Bluewavescrashing · 28/03/2020 19:18

I'm late to the party Blush

Myshitisreal · 28/03/2020 19:24

@swerfandturf can you advise on the 02 offer as I'm unaware thank you. Can't find anything in the app

Evilspiritgin · 28/03/2020 19:25

The new Pixar movie is coming up next week

LittleFishSwim · 28/03/2020 19:35
