Toe thumb, even Wynston, words have lost all meaning.

They look normal to me, maybe I have them.

BeetrootRocks · 22/03/2020 20:52

Yes it is normal. Loads of people have a long second toe.

No reason to be embarrassed but I suppose we're all different, people get embarrassed over all sorts of things, especially when we're fed images of what is 'normal'/ desirable all the time.

My second toe is long.. and double jointed... And I have really narrow feet so all in all they look like monkey feet and I like that. Less so maybe when I had to have double t bar shoes from Clarks at primary maybe. I can spread my toes out, pick up a pencil. Sadly not work them as well as an actual hand but still. They look like something that might once have helped climb a tree Grin

'Nope, all toes go with the big toe and ring finger goes with little finger.'

What does this mean?

This thread demonstrates they don't Grin

Thumbtoestofu · 22/03/2020 20:57

Sorry Beetroot that bit was in response to a PP who asked about movement in fingers and toes.

Yes this thread truly demonstrates that none of our fingers and toes match!

Dusty can you really not see the big toe in some of these thumbs?

Just normal thumbs?

I mean not freaky or anything.

Is this like cankles or what was the other one, where hardly anyone noticed or cared until some people decided to give it a name!

Like earlobes too come in all sorts and then suddenly there was a standard and other sorts were deemed odd?

iamme21 · 22/03/2020 21:06

Is this a toe thumb?
Both of mine are like this and my dads were exactly the same.

I think my DH has them, that’s why they look normal to me. I only noticed he has finger toes Smile
