Toe thumbs?

Today I have learnt about toe thumbs and I have some questions...

Me. We call them dinosaur thumbs. My dc love telling people about my weird thumbs

My thumbs are very short

I’ve been told I have ‘finger toes’ ie very long & slim. I can pick things up with them 😅 I think they’re hereditary as they are exactly like my dads and both my kids have them too.

Yay, yay to them not fitting in the lighter, bowling balls.

My thumb looks like a finger on the side of my hand.

@Thumbtoestofu - thank you. For many years I didn't know what it was until I met someone who had two toethumbs and then looked it up! Very enlightening. For those who were asking, yes some tow thumbs can be associated with genetic syndromes but us with brachydactyly D just have the weird thumb(s). Interestingly I also have the genetic quirk that means I have no top second incisors. No idea if this is relates

Both my thumbs are toe thumbs. My actual toes are really short as well. And I have a sacral dimple.
Oh I also have fairly short arms. Or maybe they are the 'right' length but don't have full movement or something (you know when you put one arm over your shoulder and reach the other one up and touch them together? Mine are a few inches from meeting)

I have no idea if they are all linked issues or if I'm just broken

I am intrigued by people saying that they can't move their big toe independently.
I can! Big toe bends, little ones don't.

Can you bedn your little finger without your ring finger moving?

I'm really confused

I have what I call monkey feet and thought this was about big toes that looked like thumbs. I thought, here are my monkey feet people! But the pictures I thought, how are they bending their feet like that

Most of these thumbs look not anything particularly weird btw

I can’t bend the little finger without ring finger going too and I can move my big toes....but I can’t bend them without the others going too

I can pick a pencil up with my foot and write my name (badly)
