I heard some on the radio this morning, it was so awful I laughed.

Sacrilege to have anyone bar Lennon sing it imo.

I still find it hard listen to. The morning Lennon was shot, I was at a friend's house. We heard he'd been shot, and the next radio news bulletin said he'd died. We were both stunned, speechless, and my friend walked across to the stereo and played "Imagine".

I only have to hear the first few notes and I'm still right back in that moment, 40 years later.

I assume they’re trying to get us all to kick ourselves so the virus isn’t an issue?

They just have to spoil things.
Anything to get in the media.
Sacrilege.

Oh my god, i am currently nursing a broken heart and this has made me laugh loads at the cringiness of it all, its really cheered me up by how bad it is hahaha
